So excited about my trip to Meijer today! I was going after the Mountain Dew Amp that was on sale 5 for $5.00. I called earlier and they FINALLY had the single cans in stock.

Here's how it went for me...

22 - 16 oz cans Amp = $21.78 (rang up 99 cents instead of $1.00)
TAX = 1.52
TOTAL = $23.30
MINUS COUPONS = $22.55
TOTAL PAID = 75 CENTS!!!!!

My real total savings for this trip was $51.15 ($28.60 non-coupon savings + $22.55 in coupons).

I'm still extremely excited and can't wait for my trip coupon shopping trip!

I know this week is a Meijer brand sale, so there wasn't too much I could do with coupons (and really, I'm just starting to use them much anyway), but today my fiance and I spent just over $45 and saved $33! I was super excited and had to gush about it somewhere, I figured here might be a good place.

Mostly I was excited because I'd been holding onto a $2 off coupon for a box of Special K cereal and a box of Special K bars, so combined with the the 2 for $5 sale and the buy 2 get a free Dannon deal, I ended up getting a box of cereal, a box of granola bars, and a four pack of yogurt smoothies for $3. For me, that was a pretty good deal!

I had a great shopping trip last night. I can't list everything because it was a months worth of food but I will list the deals!!

I had 20% off my grocery coupons I had to use before Saturday and there was not very good deals this week so I stocked up on chicken and marked down meats however my largest savings was

Purina One dog food bag marked down to 10.99
Use meijer 5.00/1 and manufacture coupons 3.00/1 Making the bag 2.99 I bought 7 and still got 20% off of my total!!

My total before coupons 335.00
w/ 20% I saved 65.00
then after my other coupons my total was 215.00!

Okay so I am new here and thought that I had read all the ad for this weeks kraft sale but I must have missed the only 1 "buy 4 of the Kraft dressing" and get a $4 coupon. They were also on sale of 2 for $3. I had 36 of the $1 coupons off any kraft dressing and thought - sweet I can buy 36 dressings - get them for $18 and get back $36. Had other shopping to do so finished that - now here comes the "Awesome customer service part". I go through the line and the total comes to 93.23 - not bad after all the coupons. then I only get 1 $4 catalina. I walk away a little perplexed and decide to go to the customer service desk and ask. I get there and very nicely ask her if she knows about the $4 catalina deal and admit that it was probably me that didn't read the ad right. She pulls out the ad and says yep only 1 $4 cat per transaction. I say thank you and am about to walk away and she says if you can hold on and let me help this other lady I can fill out a customer service coupon redemption for the difference. WHAT!!!!!!! I of course wait. She then proceeds to fill out 2 $16 dollar redemption cards - thought that the $32 would be a bit much on one I guess. Anyways here is the pic of everything that I got for basically $60.00. I also should add that I get some steaks that were a total of 18.76 - hubby grabbed them before picture - a bag of green apples, a bag of cherries, 6 cucumbers, and 1 pd of grean beans - ( kids trying to be helpful )

I didn't realize you couldn't just apply it back to the same order to get the coupon savings. Oh well, lesson learned.

I found some Bertolli frozen meals on clearance today for 1.25. Used 1 q for $1.25 and 1 q for $1 off. So two bags of frozen pasta for about .25. Also had a raincheck on the nestle coffeemate 2/$5. Used 4 .50 qs (forgot that only 2 identical will double... but with raincheck, I had to do it all together) and got a $1 onyo cat from the nestle! Also found some voila frozen meals next to the bertolli clearanced for $1. No q's to use on them, but pretty much paid for three what one would normally cost, so like b1g2 free! Sweet and sour chicken- yum.
