I did my first shopping trip to Meijer today using mealbox q's! Can't believe I haven't used these before. Between those, some IP's, manufacturer q's, and the sales I was able to save over $35 on a $77 trip for a savings of 46%!!! DH is going to be muy impressed! This Meijer forum is super helpful!!!!

Went to Meijer in Jackson cuz we were over there (live in BC), got the 6 mac and cheese and bought some Digrino for one pizza's and used MB, got 2 2$ cat. Can't tell you have much I saved cuz I lost the receipt and Cat's by the time I got to the car. Went back in and of course nowhere to be found. Someone got a bonus in their cart!!!! ugh! I hate it when I do stupid things. Tomorrow is a new day.

Swiped a $7 off $90 from my parents -- found it in their car, berated them for not using it, they said, "meh," and gave it to me. Downside was that it expired Sunday, so I had to get myself in gear. Good thing this week was a good ad, cuz I don't usually spend that much a Meijer! Bought a bunch of stuff, including things for MIL: Ortega, Kraft salad dressing, Dannon Activia and Danactive, Kraft Cheese, Meijer beans, 5 Kellogg's cereals, Silk soymilk, free coffee, flatbread sammy, and Propel water, the list goes on... Long story short: paid 58.00, saved 79.00. LOVE it when the saved number is bigger than the OOP. Hubster was impressed, and I had a great cashier, too!

I also have a 3 off 40 to use that the hubster got, so looking forward to using that one, too. What's the trick to getting these qs? I never get them!

Well I forgot to take pic's, don't think I could have gotten it all in one pic to tell the truth. Went and got my haul, so stocked up, all we will need is milk and fresh frutits and vegetables.

Did coupons for myself, my friend, and two sets for my aunt. Yes, I had that many coupons, as recently a friend was so nice and gave me a second computer and printer, so that I could print coupons to use to get freebies for the church pantry.

My total was 325.00 before coupons, after it came down to 131.00, so I was really pleased to say the least. My girlfriends was 98.00 and came down to 35.00, she was a happy camper. She is just now getting back into coupons, got her talked into ordering the paper for home delivery and she just got herself a new printer. She has seen what I am able to do on the trips she has went on with me. She tells me that she tells her co workers and patients,(she is a dental assistant) about how I save so much all the time.

Got another trip planned for this week, don't have a clue as to where I will put it. The kitchen and pantry are full!!!!!!!!!!! Yipppppeeee

Well I couldn't wait to get out the door this morning to go and I did Great.
Spent 27.18 Meijer Prom. saved 11.50 Non-coupon savings 65.22 and coupons 40.10. Savings totals 116.82. I was so happy.
Things I got were 4-A1 2-BBQ sauces 9 other Sweet baby ray items 2- Kraft dressing 4- Rice sides 6-butters Bananas potatoes 2- Lipton Teas Eggs Bread 4- Kraft cheeses milk and hot dogs and brats and a couple other Things. I wish I could post a pic. Maybe next time. Thanks for all the great hints

I am new to this site, but have been using coupons for about 6 months now. I had $51.00 in coupons yesterday in Meijer. The clerk and people behind me were freaking out. They couldn't get over the fact that I got 3 bottles of A-1 sauce for 50 cents each since that stuff is so expensive! The $2.00 off coupons were great. I also got Daisy sour cream free and McCormick packet free. I just had so many good savings!

Well this isnt a post for a great trip it was bad .. The lady was rude and very unprofessional! I know dealing with people that get on your nerves wears on you but you dont treat customers like they are idiots or beneath you, I cant believe the way she acted today!! she was very rude and I could believe it, Okay I went thru the other day got some trial sizes of dial (NO PROBLEMS) the lady had to call her manager okay that is fine your doing your job I guess, So i waited she came over bobbing her head she read the coupon looked at me up and down read the coupon turned her back then turned to the screen and said I CANT DO THIS.. I asked why it doesnt say excludes trial sizes, or even list any size at all states one dial body wash product.. she gets on her phone and calls her team leader district manager lady she says and explains the coupon (keeps saying its the big bottle on the picture), and tells her the price and says i thought not , its not the big bottle i didnt think we could take it I say it doesnt state excludes trial size or state a specific size.. she said its not in the picture so of course i had to be a smart-butt for a minute had her pull all my q's and grabbed the coca-cola q b1g1 free and said this says coca-cola product but I was able to buy a spirte HOW IS THAT? oh thats different she says ? OKAY HOW IS THAT PLEASE EXPLAIN.. It shows coke in the picture and i didnt buy coke.. I think that is the same thing she said well coupons are a scam! and i cant believe people, stores except them, that is what food stamps are for.??? what did that have to do with anything? how are you paying for these food stamps let me guess I pulled out a stack of 50's and 20's (just cashed my check! ) said no sorry I was planning on using cash she said for all of that I said yes,??? she said i will cash you out over here go to .. I cut her off and said sorry I will be taking my business to walmart they didnt have any problems as did the lady the other day at THIS STORE taking my lower class coupons she tried to tell me not this store we dont do people coming in trying to fraud our company by getting free stuff for small size items.! i pulled the receipt out on her and said okay what is that compared the bar code and laughed said now what?.! I left my full cart (go figure the day i wasnt getting all the free deals had cash to spend to stock up on chicken, meat family is coming into town this weekend grilling out all weekend ect!) she tried stopping me and she apologized I am sorry lets just go over here and cash you out then you can speak with my team leader at customer service and she what she can do, I turned around and said you go ahead and take the cart to her your self and explain you just lost out of at least a few hundred dollars! I felt bad afterwards not for her, but the poor guy/lady who has to put all of it back!!! but refuse to be treated and or looked down on for what coupons dont hate baby...
just sad companies employ employees like that with NO PEOPLE SKILLS! i understand she was doing her job but she could have went about it TOTALLY DIFFERENT! i am sorry for the long story had to let it out!

The waffles are 4/$10 and you get $1.00 off instantly when you buy 4. So it's like $2.25 each when you buy 4. So with your $1.50 off coupon, you'll be paying $.75 each

This was a good week! My first trip on Sunday I saved 63% and my trip today I saved 64%! Usually my savings is only around 50%.

I saved $154.99! How, you ask? Well, let me tell you...
A lot of it was the McCain frozen potato deal reg.$2.59 for $.64 each. I bought 26... so my freezer is full with those and the frozen kashi waffles. I also got 8) hostess 100 calorie packs for $1.50 @ and used the $.50 doubled Q to make them 50 cents a peice. The cashier price adjusted it since the ad was their mistake. I got 10)boxes of Kellogg's cereal $2@-$1/2 Q....and a bunch of meijer drink mix canisters on clearance for 40% off- $1.36@. 8)HiddenValley Ranch dressings for $1.33 using both the IP and Mealbox Q. I even had some Propel water Q's for $1.00 off and they were $1.09...got 11. I love the peach mango with fiber... so good! Got crackers and koolaid packets to get the free sugar. So I have drinks for the kids for all summer long if I can hide it away and keep those little critters ( otherwise known as my children) out of the koolaid! Anyway, I have to come home late at night and hide the food in various spots all over the house. It is like a hide and go seek game for the kids to find food or treats. ( I should have them connected to an electrical shock (a slight twinge) to keep them out of the food!!) I am just kidding, but the 10 boxes of cereal may not last longer than Monday...but GO ME for providing the food for the GAME!! ( and doing it so inexpensively!)
