This is the first time I've posted for anything like the deals I've gotten. I shop at Meijer's about every two weeks and when I don't shop there on the off week, I use their ads to comp at Wal-mart.

My trip last night netted me 90 items (sorry no pics..I didn't get home til 10:30 last night and I was whooped...).

I try to make sure it's at least 50% and more when I can. A couple of ladies I'm working with right now say it's mind blowing to watch the total go down as the coupons go up. I'm working hard to convert them. :-)

Hi everyone! I am pretty new at afc but I think I have meijer shopping down to a science! ! Anyway I am excited to go shopping and post my experience. I did want to let all of you know about a previous experience I had though. Meijer had frozen green giant veggies on sale 10 for 10 get the 11th free. Well I just happened to have 50 $1 off Q's. So I filled my cart with all 50 plus the free ones. When I started handing the cashier my Q's he said I have to call my manager. I was kindly told they do not have to allow me to do that and I needed to call the frozen food manager prior to purchasing a large quanity like that. So just an fyi if you are buying a lot of something you may want to call the day before and let them know so you do not get ambushed at the register. The manager said it would not have been a problem if I had called.

So did you buy more than just 11? I have bought 25 GG steamers before. Well i broke them up into different transactions to get the double coupons but it was all on one trip. I had no problem. Heck i've never heard of anything like this before. I just hate how some stores want to give coupon savy folks a problem. Oh if I only owned a store, that would be coupon nirvana

don't see anyone listed the green works dish soap deal... it had a peelie on each bottle of $2.00 off of any green works product if you buy the dish soap which was for 22 ounces $1.49 and so i bought 11 bottles of dish soap and had them simply roll into each other ...ended up getting them all free plus tax....loved that deal and i was proud of myself i didn't even smash and grab as much as i wanted too....i fought the urge.....

i went to meijer today for the dynamo deal, i saw for the first time they have dynamo HE. to bad i could only cart 6 bottles home plus groceries. when i had gotten home there was a line on my receipt that read "spend 25 tb get 5 off" and there was a 5.00coupon taken off. i am not complaining but i would like to know what i did to get it. i guess i just am not getting the short hand.

went to meijer last night, didn't get much but I wasn't planning on getting anything, but I went to get my little brother something for babysitting and got the new star ocean video game[xbox 360] it was marked 29.99 just came out last week, went to buy and the cashier said it was 59.99 after I showed him the tag he had to call his manager, turns out the person tagging the items messed up so I got a brand new just out game for 30

Oh && for groceries I got 60 dollars worth of stuff for 35 and some change, not as good as everyone else on here but I'm trying

I would of liked to of looked around the store but we had cub scouts car registration and I had to help with it tonight! Still nice to get a bunch of stuff for super cheap!!

I had a great day at Meijer today! With all of their 10/$10 & 11th for free deals it was great. I got 11 boxes of Totino's Pizza Rolls, 5 El Monterey Taquitos, 6 Toaster Struedels, 5 Bags of Combos, 11 Diet Pepsi's 2 Liters, 11 Betty Crocker Warm Delights, 4 Lysol disinfect sprays, 4 bags of Shredded Sargento Cheese, 1 Hamburger Helper, 3 pkgs. Aunt Millie Hot dog buns, 2 pkgs. Aunt Millie Hamburger buns, 11 Meijer Cinnamon Applesauce, 1 Neutrogena Face wash, and a few other items for $85.00. I saved $104.49. Awesome week, I must say!! I used 1.00 off coupons for the El Monterey Taquitos, .35 off on the Toaster Struedals, .50 off on the Warm Delights (already 10 for $10 w/11th free, making them .40 a piece), .40 off of 2 Pizza rolls (again 10 for $10, making them .70/box) and $2.00 off Lysol (1/2 off for 2.44 making them .44/19 oz. can). Not bad if I do say so myself.

I went last night just for the Lysol sale & a couple fresh produce items. I purchased:

1x Green Pepper, 1 bag of potatoes, 2 pkgs of hoagie buns...and for the cleaning supplies sale stuff... 7 Lysol products & 1 Glade product. The total before any coupons would have been $38.65. I paid $18.19 for a savings percentage of 53% (not to mention the extra savings just for buying the Lysol stuff at 1/2 off!)

Oh yeah... almost forgot, I also have a $3 Lysol rebate form to send in now!

Yesterday I went to Meijer to get their formula (on sale) and Lysol Products. I spent $79.92 on eight large cans of formula (the $20+ size one if you do not use store brands). This was pricey, but they do not have the $2 off sale often.

Before joining AFC, I was a rare coupon user... and my grocery/household spending was crazy. Now we're saving 30-50% alone on our groceries (and I still buy premium/brand name products in most cases, and lots of meat).

I buy 2-3 papers most Sundays and search online for coupons/deals/rebates and plan my shopping trips using the AFC Shopping Lists. I buy most of our groceries at Meijer (because they are the best deal in our area), some cleaning/laundry products at Walmart, and try to hit the Rite Aid and Walgreens deals 3-5x/month. I'm saving us 30% minimum overall on everything (including fastfood, eating out and entertainment). It's so much fun to learn from everyone here. I'm very thankful for all of you.

I'm still trying to find the right balance for me - I don't want to spend all my time hunting for deals but missing out on life. My overall goal is to simplify our lives and minimize waste - money and time.

Note: I also cut back on our utilities by 15% since December by switching off lights, electronics and other energy consumers when they're not needed... and wearing socks in the house so I can keep the heat down.

I LOVE AFC!!! My pantry, frig, freezer, medicine cabinet and cleaning supply closet are all FULL!!! And I'm under budget! Wahoo!

Well this trip may be my crowing Glory as my husband says. This is my second trip this week and I got my 2.00 lysol coupons, so back I went. I went to the Grand Ledge meijer (which I love) and the saginaw mejier (which I love not so much). I did nine transactions because I was buying 20 lysol and needed to use my mealbox coupons. At the Grand ledge mejier a few lysol rang up with an extra 20 percent discount so I got .41 back out of the machine. Rocks. My husband asks what am I going to do with all the lysol. I am giving some away and stockpiling the rest.
