What is a Mealbox Coupon?

Mealbox Coupons are Meijer coupons that can be printed from the Meijer website. You can now use as many Mealbox coupons as you like in one transaction, as long as you don't use more coupons than you have items of course. These can be used in conjunction with manufacturer's coupons.

Meijer has rotating instore only coupons. It's kinda of hard to find so here are the directions:

1. First click on the link and it will bring you to the mealbox home page
2. There are 4 tabs, Recipes, Specials, Shopping List, & Sign Out.
3. Click on "Specials"
4. Now there will be a two options, "One Stop Meijer" and "Coupons"
5. Click the coupons button and print as many as you like...

As of yet, I've only seen them advertised at the store with shelf tags, and only at one of the many stores in my area.

I went to Meijer today and they had some signs posted for buy 1,2,3,4 maxwell house coffee and get $1,2,or $4 off your next order good throught 3/21. I bought 4 of the 39oz. and didn't get any coupons, what do I do now?

I would go to the customer service desk with your receipt and show them where the coffee is on your receipt and tell them about the sign back by the coffee. In my experience, they will give you cash in the amount of the coupon you should've gotten

I am new to couponing at Meijer, and I have a question.

If an item is on sale say 3/$4, can I just buy 1 or 2 and get them for $1.34 each or do I have to buy all 3 to get the sale price?

At Meijer you can just buy 1 or 2 for $1.34 & $1.33. Meijer is pretty good at that kind of stuff. I know a lot of times with Kroger you have to buy into the whole deal.

At meijer's you dont have to buy all to get that bargain..just like the 10 for $10 11th one free sales..you can mix match them throughout the whole store then the 11 item would be free. If you dont see an item , dont be afraid to ask for assistance...sale items do run out fast especially with everyone learning about shopping with coupons...so when going through the registers..ask for that raincheck. Just remember rainchecks are only issued on red sale tag items..not TPD( temporary price drop- blue tags) items. Check out the ad..sometimes on General Merchandise items it will state no raincheck available. We see many issues of the ounces wrong that people purchase..make sure you watch the size of the container as well thats on sale.

Some stores double coupons up to $.50, some double up to $1.00 and some don't double at all. It depends on your location.

I, unfortunately, live where there are no stores that double (Grand Rapids, MI area). I've also heard that most stores in the Chicago area don't double. I hope yours is one of them that does!

EZ pic coupons don't require you to sign up for anything. If an item is on EZ pic, you will see a sign posted by the product stating what the deal is. I've often seen them on Fast Fixin's products (frozen chicken nuggets) and on Malt-o-meal cereals. The deals usually run for about a month and the coupon amount is instantly taken off at the register. Hope that helps!

Can I redeem coupons after purchase with my receipt? I want to buy something that is on sale this week, but I see from the insert preview that the coupon will be in this Sunday's paper.

Can I buy today and redeem tomorrow?

So I just started looking at coupons a few weeks ago. I live 4/10ths of a mile from a Meijer, and I really want to make it work for me since my kids and I can walk there.

BUT THEY ARE SO SCREWED UP!!!!! MFQ's sometimes scan. Sometimes not! And the Mealbox Q's NEVER scan. The cashiers can't figure them out. And they show up on the receipt but not on the register. On the register they look like .00, and the only way to tell if it scanned is to look at the total on the bottom and make sure it deducted the appropriate amount.

I'm in there all of the time, maybe I'll catch one of the managers and ask what the heck is going on.

But thanks for this post, I found it super helpful.

Do you need to have a meijer one card? or does it really just come off instantly?

My local meijers used to price match, up until about a month ago- did all Meijers stop doing this, and does anyone know a place that price matches AND doubles coupons?
