A little OT, but I was at the Standale MI Meijer today. There used to be a Meijer kitty-corner from there. They were demolishing that old one today.

Really? That's about a mile from my house... I'll need to drive by there tomorrow. That place was Ralph's most recently, but it closed down several years ago. I was wondering what they were going to do with it! Now I wonder what will happen to the bar across the street that closed down (German something?) and Big Boy that shut down.

Gaines Marketplace or 52nd & Clyde Parkusually . Just for fun I might sometimes go to the one on 28th street and Kalamazoo. You can see people and food from just about every country in the world! Its like a mini united nations or something! If you are deep in the produce section you might think you are in some market on the other side of the world.
