Went to Meijer 2nite and had GREAT shopping trip - saved around $114!!!!
Thanks to all of you on this site.....BUT..........
..........did self-checkout and the Colgate deal (buy 5 items - get $5 towards next trip) and the stupid coupon printer was out of INK!!! It was late night, so the kids working didn't know how to fix it.....they told me to bring my receipt back tomorrow to Cust Serv .....

Should I do it?
Will it send up "red flags" b/c I had so many savings?!?!? Obviously, I wouldn't have bought the stuff if I wasn't going to get $5 back.....

Advice?

I would take the receipt in the morning and explain what happened.

But if it's out of the way for you I would just call the store manager/cs and explain what happened so they are already aware you'll be coming back, even say if it's a week later. I've had to do that before because my closest store is 14 miles and it wouldn't have been worth the gas $$$ to go back just for that.

I've also stopped at the CS desk after checking out and explained I didn't get my catalina and they will try to print one from there and if that doesn't work they have coupon forms they can fill out by hand, works just as good as the catalina.

Took it back - she gave me $5.00 cash.....!!!

BTW, My meijer is accepting multiple mealbox coupons for the Nabisco (self-checkout only) - and have Nabisco Cheese nips on sale 10 for $10 this week. Then I get 3 bags of Hanes socks @ $3.49 each - use 10 $1 off coupons, take advtg of the Hanes/Nabisco deal and get it ALL (10 boxes crackers, 3 pckgs socks) for under $1.00
