I did 18 of these products just as moonflower described at the u-scan. 6 items, then card, 6 more items, etc. Went absolutely perfectly and not a single problem!! (I ALWAYS have problems with coupons at the U-scan and have started boycotting it, because they made 6 checkout lanes into "self serve" to avoid paying cashiers! Ugh! Sorry...ranting...) Anyway, I did this as soon as I got there so I could use my 3 GC to pay for the rest of my stuff. When I went throught the regular lane I did another 6 items and GC in a separate order (cuz I know you can't pay with the GC--I had her do them separate). The $10 would not come off for the GC like it did at the U-scan. I had her void it out. Anyone know why this only works at u-scan?

Meijer caught on to this and put a stop to getting this deal buying the trial size.

As far as I know Indiana's doesn't start intill tomorrow (Thurs).

My Dh and I went last night to 2 different Meijer stores and it was a no go for us all the way around! We are in Dayton, Ohio and we went to the new store on RT 201 first. The uscan did not deduct the GC, so we asked a cashier to help us out. He was very nice, and said it should have been no problem. He called his manager, and she was sweet, but said it wasn't going to work out. She did mention it was not clearly stated in the ad which sizes applied, so since the uscan wasn't recognizing it, it must not be those szs. We said thanks anyway, and headed out to the Clayton store. That was a whole other story!!! That store is soooo gross!! Sooo dirty, and it smelled like the bathrooms were overflowing! The usacn froze on us, the cashier did not know what to do, we tried on another uscan just to finish out our order and it would not accept any coupons! Then the GC wasn't coming off either, and she was sooo confused as to what we were even trying to do at all! Said she didn't think you were able to buy a CG at uscan. Nice, but clueless. She calls in a manager. OK. That woman was beyond rude! She comes up, shaking her head, and raising her voice! Says she had been with the company for 14 yrs and they have never had to pay anyone to shop there! (I didn't mention I make $$ at Meijer all the time!) She was so spiteful and loud and trashy....my head was spinning. Didn't even know what to say to that sort of ugliness! She wore no ID, so I have no idea what her name was, but she had me on the verge of tears I was soooooo mad! I can accept a No, but there was no need for her horrible behaviour. Will contact corp because of that, but long story over, does not work here in Dayton!

Trial sizes didn't work for me either...then the lady at customer service told me I had to buy the "exact" items on the ad?! I told her that was quite impossible because the ad didn't show EVERY P&G product. Well it turns out it was her way of saying I couldn't use trial sizes to get the deal. Oh well, I did buy the colgate trials and got the $5 catalina so my trip wasn't a complete waste.

They must have caught wind to their mistake.. Shelves are empty by me...so cannot do the deal anyway..

It is still a moneymaker on the Crest full size though if you use the $1/1 coupon and buy 6

It is in the general merchandise ad, not the grocery ad..around page 13 or so.

trial sizes arent working anymore at least not in indiana. im in kokomo and they havent worked for me at all <3

I did this in Indiana 4 times last night. Worked perfectly. I bought the travel sizes of Always liners (20 to a pack) for $1.3x. Received $40 worth of gift cards. This was in Ft. Wayne

i wrote down the instructions from moonflower and i'm going to try it saturday. no one in my area gets the deals so my store should be well stocked

Was in a Meijer in Ann Arbor today and there were signs posted around all the P&G products that said the trial sizes are NOT included in the $10 gift card deal. Don't know if this is a regional thing though since some of you are saying it still works for you.
