Has anyone tried using the normal store coupons yet not manufacture ones like the meijer policy states? Ive tried twice and had issues both times. Even the manager had no clue about the policy and ended up calling the other store I had to make it a point to corporate that wasn't following the new policy either. So after she talked to her she acknowledged it existed at least but took a copy of the coupon and is sending it to corporate office for clarification. Has anyone had a successful trip using store coupons that are not manufacture ones. How was it discounted when you did ? I had the PG coupon from kmart is what started when I asked if their new policy accepts that type too and proceeded to tell me it had to be mq to be sent to a clearing house or they couldnt accept it. I wonder if its actually worth the hassle anymore to even try !

Ps I was so frustrated I said it seems you are enforcing what benefits you and what doesnt takes a back seat because no one seems to have a clue so you dont bother to honor them !

I just tried today and after being told no, even after showing her the policy I pointed out the new wording and they said ok after staring at it for several minutes. It's pretty clear that corp. does not inform the stores/managers of policy changes. My store is very coupon friendly too.

ETA - I used Family Dollar soft soap coupons along with the $1/1 MQ'S. They wouldn't allow Target coupons because it was too far away (even though Walmart across the street pm's Target)

I was able to use 2 $2/2 Target website Q's for Magnum ice cream bars. Had the new policy in my hands, just in case. No problems. The clerk attempted to scan both (I think they have been given orders to try to scan them--why? I don't know.) It didn't scan (duh!), so she entered both by hand (as Meijer store Q's).

This is a total 180 from a week ago, when I was told "we don't take any Target Q's"

I was going to ask about the Target Magnum Ice Cream Qs. I mean what is the policy? Do they accept them or not?

I was wondering how the doubling works now. I read in a previous post that the cashier limited to her 2 of the same coupons in the same transaction. Is this something that is going to change from store to store? Also, are they super strict now when it comes to the coupons that say on them "limit 1 coupon per purchase". In the past they never cared and would just scan them all. I wanted to stock up on on stuff this week but I am scared that I will be given a hard time at the register.

(I think I already have a reputation at my Meijer for being "the coupon girl" and I want to make sure I understand the policy)
