I can't believe no one seems excited about this!!!

I got up EARLY yesterday, and was shopping for almost 7 hours between 3 stores.
THIS I get up for at dark, but won't for Black Friday or other "famous" shopping days! LOL!

I was TOTALLY bummed that I forgot to grab my MMBQ's for the Kraft Homestyle that I had printed out Saturday night , but I still "went with it" and paid .49 ea.

I still have more shopping to do, but got the bulk of Meijer's done yesterday.

Need Miracle Whip, so grabbed a couple of those too.

Part of my problem about being excited is that a lot of the 8/$8 items I really don't use and the rest of the ad to me isn't that great.

So far on my list....

chicken drumsticks 99¢/lb
cheetos/fritos BOGO
frozen corn 5/$5

Then for 8/$8 items:

OM Deli Fresh Turkey Breast
Kraft Homestyle Mac & Cheese
Kraft Chunk Cheese(maybe)

Other than those items it appears through my first look that it will be it for this week.

Now there is other store in town that is having a grand opening of a store that has some really good prices along with giving fuel rewards of 50¢ off/gallon of gas (max. 20 gallons) when you buy $75 worth of groceries that I might see about getting one of those certificates.

I see. That makes sense!

I have to admit, I don't drink coffee (but DH and DS are FISH!), I don't drink Crystal Light (but my sis is a faithful fan, and I will give these to her when she visits from out of state), and I don't eat (er, can't eat) the mac & cheese (due to cholesterol), BUT the coffee deal was HUGE for my budget, and with all the non-stop company we have here (especially at dinner time ), the quick easy stuff is always on hand to make my life easier (if that is even possible! LOL! )!

I did grab a couple of the OM Turkey Deli's for myself, as I "indulge" sometimes and have one slice on a toasted sandwich.

I saved almost $230 yesterday (spent about $50), but that also include a few things from Kroger and Kmart, but the bulk of it was savings at Meijer.

I also picked up a few of the Kraft salad dressings and used the "$1 Free Produce" Q for a couple of large russet potatoes. We use the Zesty Italian for a marinade with meats for the grill.

Later in the week, I will pick up more of the coffee, mac and cheese, meats, salad dressings and cheese. It will be at this time that I snag up a few more deals from the ad (Clorox and Bleach!).....and the Playtex baby stuff!!!

jello cups~wish I had higher doubles but bought 5 got $4 OYNO and the smores kind had .75/1 6pk exp 12/31/12 on the inside worked out to .96/pack for me
one package bear creek pasta mix~these were $2.99 and the $1/1 mperk expires this week also used $1/1 mfq~thought I should try this before I decided to order qs since they expire in Oct. They were picked over so at least someone else had the same idea.

Picked up new tearpads for the kraft dressings exp 3/31/13!!! and $1/2 nabisco.

I was very excited about the OM sale. I might try the selects later in the week if the deli fresh is gone but I didn't even scan them to check since I was trying to hurry.

Also got a cat for free smart balance spreadable butter.

Totally understand getting the items to give to others. I have done that in the past too but right now with the budget a bit tight I am wanting to focus on just what we *need* or will use. I don't need hubby mad at me.

Here's a scenario I plan to do:

Buy 4 Triscuits @ $ $2.50 each - use 4 $1/1 FB IPs = $2.00 (.50 each)
Buy 2 Crystal Light @ $2.00 each - use 1 $1/2 mq = $1.00 (.50 each)
Buy 2 Kraft Mayo @ $2.99 each - use 1 $.75/1 mq = $3.23 (1.62 each)

Total OOP $6.23

Another scenario is to buy 8 Kraft Homestyle Dinners $2.00 each:

Use 4 $1/2 mqs
Use 4 $.50/2 mmbqs
OOP = $2.24 or $.24 each wyb8

Has any one has any issues with similar scenarios? I know I can't do back to back transactions.

The salad dressing was part of a cardboard display in produce. It's a little foldout tearpad with 4 recipes and $1 off fresh produce wyb 2 dressings exp 3/31/13. If you find a display, check all the sides to make sure you are not missing the qs!
