Stop and Shop Shaws Market Basket Hannafords Star Market More.... (I'll add more as people mention them) Why can't I remember the others? ![]() Just wiki it and wow there are a ton of stores I never knew about!!! Post your thoughts so we can all reap the savings rewards!

Near me there is Shaws, Stop & Shop, Market Basket, Trucchi's, Price Rite, and Save-a-lot. I will shop at the first 3. Both Shaws & Stop & Shop double up to .99 and MB seems to have better quality and cheaper prices on fruit and veggies. A store that is not on your list is Roche Bros...I have never been there but I have driven by the one in Bridgewater

Wegmans is amazing. You'll love it. We had one in Buffalo, NY and It is a really nice store. However - I'm not sure how well couponing works there or what kind of deals you can get. You can get just about any type of food, gorgeous produce or prepared food you can think of.

I feel salty(hehe love that expression) towards Hannaford's. They don't double coupons and I feel their prices are expensive. Currently I shop at Stop N' Shop and will be soon shopping at Aldi's to get cheap dairy. I shop at Market Basket for meats. For some reason SNS and MB are next door to each other here

Their B1G2 sales are great for stocking up and although for a while they eliminated doubling coupons they have since gone back to doubling up to $.99 (love when I have some $.75 coupons!) Some of the "regular" prices I find to be a bit high, but I'm really only buying sale items anyways.

My favorite is Market Basket b/c they offer great prices, and have a great selection and their produce is great, (some stores are just ehhwww) MB is coupon friendly and they don't have to double their coupons b/c they are much cheaper than the other stores. I walk out with 2x as much for the same price than when I walk out of shaws and stop n shop. Those two are good for the 10 for 10 deals or some sales if you get their quick, Shaws changes over on Fridays for their sales and I hate stores on a Friday. Price Chopper is decent if you plan your trip, they are my second favorite....I highly recommend checking out Aldi's if one opens by you, it is kind of a shock to put a quarter in the cart to start shopping but you get it back...but no coupons but their prices are good.

I like Roche Bros for the quality of the meats and produce, BUT, they are the most expensive of my local stores. They do double coupons up to .99. Market Basket seems to be the cheapest, but doesn't double coupons. The Shaws near me is huge, really too big. There are multiple aisles that I never go down. Not crazy about Hannaford or Donlans.

I like Roche Bros when I can get some good sales items. Wonderful meat and bread sections. For items I need and only have $1 coupon (or none), it's Market Basket, although I really dislike the one near me (old, narrow aisles, terrible parking lot). Otherwise, it's Shaws (Star) or Stop & Shop; especially to work a sale with coupons. Aldi's once in a while and rarely Hannaford. Would love a Trader Joe's close to me. Keep hearing wonderful things about Wegmans. Hope to get over there once it opens, but it's too far for my weekly shopping. |
