3 hours?!?! Where in SE PA? I'm in Laurel, MD and I visit my mom just outside of Philly, by the airport, and it usually takes me 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic.

I was surprised too - but I got the address and googled the map and it was like 2 hr and 50 min. - right outside the city..

UPDATE: Actually, a non-update. The voice mail greeting yesterday said it could take 2 business days to hear back. I'll try again later today anyway. If we get the room, I'll post with address, directions, food info, etc.

Piv's Pub & Restaurant in Cockeysville, MD has a Private Party Room. Could call Courtney and see if you can rent it out for a few hours. They have decent food and a small bar. Nice looking place.

There is also Patrick's up the road. They are good with Private Parties and have OK food. Good lunch spot. Reputation for Crab Cakes.

Michael's Pub in Columbia? Same center as Harris Teeter and they have a separate dining and bar areas. Maybe they'd give us the back bar room where they have the bands play? I enjoyed their food when I visited their. Reasonably priced. A majority here seem to know where the HT is. Just a thought. Don't know how they'd handle the room thing.

I don't know if they'd give up the room on a Saturday.

When we were planing last year, we talked about having it at Golden Corral in Hanover (by Arundel Mills). Again, not sure about a Saturday, though.

You could check with the church. Just tell them you are with the group from last year and make sure they know that there won't be AS much donated, but we still could manage $5 worth of stockpile a piece, I would think. The lady at the church said we could come back anytime.

Not a bad idea. I'll call tomorrow. I will also check w/the Amherst House community building right there. They have 2 rooms, but they're not open again until Monday.

Hey everyone - sorry for the long delay in getting a location. We'll be at Michael's Pub in the Kings Contrivance Village Center in Columbia, MD on May 1st. Across the street from the church we were in last year. I'll start a new thread later today w/all of the details, directions, rsvp's, etc. I'll post a link to the new thread right here. Yea!! Awwwww man! I already have a yard sale scheduled for that day AND I told some of the regulars about it!!

I actually have two yard sales that day but had to choose to only do one out of the two!!

I will miss all of you! I would have been a long shot anyway with every other weekend being masters classes and of course fitting in yard sale!! Please take pics as I am sad I can't come!!
