Does anyone know if Giant has a price scan garantee? I was there saturday and bought a value pack of perdue boneless chicken breast. It was on special for 5.59 and originally 13 and change. It rang up 10.89. I noticed it when we were on our way home because I was trying to figure out why the bill was so high. We turned around and went back in. I had also forgotten to scan one of my coupons that I picked up extra. I also took this coupon back in. The person at the CS desk was so nice about it! I love the fruitville pike store! But she did the refund put the whole 10.89 on the counter and then put the coupon through for me and gave us that money. I thought she was going to rering the chicken and fix the price and she didnt. I asked her Thats it. And she said yup your all set. I was really confused. But free chicken for me!

I once bought 2 packs of string cheese that rang up wrong. I caught it while checking out. The cashier called over the manager, who went to the cheese aisle to check the price. When she returned, she confirmed the price was wrong and rang in both string cheese for zero. I was very greatful! Then, when I thought she couldn't make it better, she forced through the Qs that I had to go with them. I told her she didn't have to that since I was getting the cheese for free. She said that they'd get reimbursed for the Qs, so it was actually beneficial for both of us!

I've had that happen to me and have since found out that when an item rings up the wrong price the first one will be free. I like it! Another good reason to check that receipt!

This just happened to me this weekend! I was in self-checkout and I told the attendant that the price rang incorrectly. She called for a manager and that manager sent one of the baggers to check the price. He came back and said I was wrong. I left all of my groceries and walked the manager back and showed her the price. They gave me the 1st item free and marked the 2nd one down to what was advertised. I had to sign some slip for getting the item free.

My giant is great about it too! Only they give the first item for free and the others at the correct price. I also had to sign a slip when I got it for free...
