Starting Sun there is 4 $1 coupon doubler in their ad. Does anyone know if I were to pick up a couple more of them can I use more than 4 at a time? It says limit 4 per household but in the past it has worked.

Manager at my Giant told me that your bonus card will only allow 4 doublers per day - so yes, pick up extras if you are going to go once a day. Like I did...

It was great for stocking up on medicine and allergy season is coming...

I always thought it got tracked through the bonuscard and only allowed 4 for the week. I tried more in the past (w/o realizing it) and they beeped.

I've never tried more than 4 in one transaction. I know I have gone and done them more than once in a week without any problems or beeps. I did not realize it was once/day.

I have also tried the once a day thing and it worked...I had 9 great $1 coupons and the giant is on the way home for me so I figured why not? You should at least try...the worst they could say is no

Question...it says with any purchase of $15 or more (after all discounts have been subtracted and before tax). Does that mean that you need to spend $15 after all bonus card prices but before coupons are subtracted? I am really confused by this and want to make several small trips but don't want to pay a lot for each trip.

No that means even after all other coupons have been subtracted too. It has to be $15 after everything!

Thanks Lee. Now that's where they get ya! Ugh..I am sure that I will end up spending 15 after all said and done just wish they did not have that rule so that we could walk out of there with very low OOP expenses!

The last time they did this, I had about 12 coupons I wanted to use - so every night after work, I did a little bit more of my grocery shopping.

Night one, I bought a package of meat, some veg, container of milk, etc to get to about $10 then used my coupons on the 4 items. Everything was about $17 or so.

Night two, I bought more meat, some snack foods, bread, yogurt to get to $10 - and then used my coupons on the 4 items. Everything second night was about $18.

If you split your "regular" grocery shopping into 3 trips, it won't be difficult to get to $15.

That is what I have planned so far. I am going to try to do it twice this week...just trying to plan it all out with the least amount of OOP as possible.

I guess each store varies. I was able to use my doublers when my total was $15 before coupons were subtracted. I ended up paying only $1 oop after coupons and doublers. But, at my store, they only allow you to use 4 doublers for the entire week.

Mine is definitely BEFORE. I've never had a problem using the doublers with any of my purchases. When I used my triples Q on Friday, my purchase went from $20 down to $5 after Qs. No problem. HTH

I've never actually tried using the doublers if my purchase was under $15 after coupons. I guess I always assumed it wouldn't work so I always tried to calculate how much my items cost, minus the coupons I was using and hoped I got as close to $15 as possible so I could use the doublers without spending too much.

You guys are lucky. Mine is very strict that the total after all coupons and discounts must be $15 or more. They make me crazy.

My store policy in PA is for 4 doublers per household per promotion. They were pretty clear on it, so I guess it varies store to store- although you'd think they'd all be set up with a similar checkout system..

My experience has always been 4 per card per week. I'd love to be able to use more than that sometimes.
