| Dollar Coupon Doublers? How do they work?
I don't shop at Giant often. But, I see in this weeks circular they have 4 Dollar Coupon Doublers. What are the limitations on these coupons? How do they work?

Its actually pretty easy. You can use all 4 Qs in one transaction. I believe you can't double more than one like Q (but since you've only got 4, this isn't usally a big deal). And before Qs your total transaction (including any other items you are buying, not just the 4 items for doubles) must be $15. HTH. Also, I believe you can only use 4 of these per bonuscard. I tried to use more than 4 in one week once, and they all beeped and wouldn't go through. Not 100% sure though.

Had a weird experience with the doublers. One store took mine, and doubled everything (up to $1). Whether the coupon was .35 or 1.50. Then I went to another Giant and the store would not use a doubler unless the coupon itself was $1. They would not let me use an IP for a BOGO, but the store before just did! They said they stopped doing that if the item were free. I won't shop at that one anymore. I also got Turkey Hill ice cream for .39. I wrote them a letter and told them whoever thought up making TH ice cream with Gertrude Hawk chocolates is brilliant. They sent me a bunch of coupons! What has been your experince with the doublers? Do your coupons need to be $1????

I'm not sure what you mean about the doublers needing to be a $1? They normally double all Qs up to $.99 so you wouldn't need a doubler for lesser Qs? Sorry...kinda confused by that one. I believe they track and limit the # of doublers via your bonuscard. I tried to do more than 4 in one week and the second ones wouldn't go through. HTH.

They do not track the number of doublers, but you can only use 4 per transaction. They would not take (at one store) any coupons to double that were not $1 coupons.

As far as only being able to use coupons $1 in value with the doublers. I've only ever used the doublers with $1 coupons. So, I don't know. |

They do track the doublers but based on your bonus card. If you tried to do two transactions with 2 batches of 4 doublers, they would not honor the doublers in your second transaction. They will site the wording on the coupon "Four per family" If you go to a different store or go a different day then they will beep and YMMV on what happens next. Sometimes they will just put them through for you. But your card does keep track and you are only supposed to use 4 per week.
