When I was at MB today the cashier tells me how much shes been saveing I say thats great. So I ask her were do you get all your coupns? She says here at the store. We have stacks of them in the back so we (employees can take what we want). Its no wounder I never seen any of the ones she was talking about. Its it wrong or is it me that Mb in Rochester dose not put them out and saves them for the workers. Dont get me I think it is great that they get them but why cannt the customers.

There should def be a limit for the workers. Like 5-10 q's per household or something... I agree that the tearpads I hear about, I never see at the store. Which totally stinks!

The coupons are intended for everyone, not just store employees. If the store is hoarded them in the back just for their employees, I would complain to the store manager. That is sooo wrong...

The managers at my store to do not care, if they had it there were they would not allow coupons. They have followed me around the store
tosee what I am buy and make remarks on how many things i am buying and say thats not right you should not be getting away with that you couponers want everything for free. I am haveing a hard time getting the contact info for the main office in mass. So it was real fun when I got alot bq sauce and it was free and another comment was made so I said I dont see a limit so I can. ps I did give alot of it away I was just tiered of there remarks.

I would have been annoyed. Why not give a few to the employees, then PUT THEM OUT? I can not think of any good reason for not putting them out!

Have you tried checking out the "coupon wall" which is usually located near the service desk? They often consolidate most of,if not all, of their available coupons (including wine tag style) in this area. You could also try asking at the service desk if they have any coupons available. Worth a shot anyway.

Well, I call myself a Market Basket Snob. Meaning I ONLY like the Lee Market Basket...LOL No, I take that back, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the Lee MB! They are awesome about coupons. They even match up coupons to products for you. I mean they tape them to the shelves and sometimes to the products, and I NEVER have had any complaints about how many coupons I use. The store is clean and the aisles are not crowded and everyone is very friendly, helpful and respectful. I know it's a little drive from Rochester, but you should try Lee MB sometime. Once again, LOVE that store!

The Woodbury Avenue Portsmouth store has coupons taped all around too! I love going to that store!

Every little bit adds up. I only buy with coupons unless its a must have that never has coupons, then I try to buy only when it is on sale.

Sorry, to hear about your problems in the Rochester MB! I personally will NOT go there. When I lived in Rochester, I drove to Lee. Now I live in Alton and still drive to Lee a couple times a month. The management staff at Lee is awesome and I'm sure they would help you contact the company. Good Luck and it's too bad the Rochester MB has to give all MBs a bad rep.

I think I will try lee or the somersworth one. I dont believe all MBS are bad. Its just the rochester one. Its is the only store i have issues with coupons. I see on this site the people have issuse with wal-mart and other stores I dont so I MB has to be the one.

My local store (Leominster) has just done away with the "coupon wall" because "someone was taking all the coupons." It's a shame because I found some great tearpad coupons there in the past. I searched the store but didn't find many coupons attached to displays this week.

I love the Lee Market Basket too! Always bring my coupon binder, but end up using mostly the coupons they have attached to the products. Great store, and both my children work there!

in our store in danvers theres a space by the service desk that coupons are hung for you to take ... most of the time i have looked they are past the date ... but they are there good luck looking
maybe you shoudl look for that person again and see if they will get you some .. or get a pt job there ..

They dont put them in there is has been weeks. I dont think I would make there becauce the manergers and i dont get a long. HAHA It has been a hassel in the rochester Mb. They are like if they tell me no and I know the coupon is good and for the right product they want me to be a good little girl and say oh ok sorry. Ah no wrong person for that.

I think a few coupons to the employees then the rest need to be out out for the customers. For the employees to hoard them seems unethical to me. I love Market Basket, its my favorite groceery store, although it is constantly packed there no matter what time I shop. The store in Tilton NH does a good job of matching the coupons to the products for the customers. They always have a ton of beer coupons taped to the products. I love this store.

That is odd that they put the coupons out back for the employees. Like I said in another post, I just recently stopped working at the one in Stratham after 8 years and we never had coupons in the back break rooms or anything. There is a coupon wall (actually two) by the customer service booth though.
The only thing I can think of is that maybe the cashier was referring to the left over Sunday paper inserts? They usually had those out back early Monday morning but they were for anyone to ask for. Before I moved to Rochester, I used to get 1 of each insert on Monday morning but again, customers did the same thing so it was by no means just for employees.

I noticed that some stores have a Q wall and others don't. Middleton,Ma does but Reading, Ma does not(not that I can find anyways). I don't think that Q's should be for only employees;they should be for everyone.
IMO anyways.
