Ok, everyone take a look, and please tell me how you are supposed to print your rebate form before you make your purchase, if you have to have a rebate code in order to print the rebate form???? Aaaarrrrgh!

Here are the rules:

You will need the following:
The rebate code printed inside specially marked packages of General Mills cereals.
The ability to print a page from the Internet.
The dated cash register receipt and UPC from the box of cereal (28 oz. or smaller) purchased for rebate (purchased after you print your rebate form).

No, but I don't really do many rebates. but that one did really throw me for a loop!

Ok So I do a far amount of rebates and these directions are not correct at all. I read it 4 times. I sent them an email to ask them to please clarify the directions. I will post when I hear back from. Good find on your part!!!

Assuming that it will take more than 1 package to earn the rebate, you could conceivable buy pkg 1, get the info from inside the box, print the form, purchase pkg 2, etc., then send in the rebate form and other qualifiers. However, the wording is definitely literature with something to be desired.

You and I always seem to find the elusive or confusing rebate forms.
Maybe you should write to the company and point out the rhetoric.
Maybe even ask for a supply of Cheerios?
If they had to create a Task Force, or hire a Grammar Consultant to figure this out, I am quite sure that a year supply of Cheerios would be less costly.

I e-mailed them right away when I read those instructions that didn't make any sense. I'll post when I hear back, and yes, a year's supply of Cheerios sounds good to me!!! I love the Honey Nut Cheerios!

I agree that doesn't sound right. Is this website for real? It looks weird to me (page and URL)...like it's not really associated with GM cereals....just wondering if anyone else thought the same.

OK I got an email back from GM Here is what it said:

I am going to send in the link and let you know what they say! Stay tuned, Don't they know that we will always find a way to make a coupon or rebate work by now!
