| Basic Question about Rebates... What price to use when I send in my rebate form? My guess is every one could be different but for example: Today I bought Listerine Pocket Paks. Regular Price 2.49 On Sale for 1.00 I had a .50 coupon which doubled to 1.00 off so I got them for free Now I have a rebate form for the purchase price... so what will I get back? Here's how the receipt looks: __________________________________ Listerine Strips PC 1.00T WAS 2.49 PC Savings 1.49 MC SCANNED COUPON .50-T SC ACME DOUBLED CPN .50-T Subtotal: .00 Total: .00 __________________________________ I assume the only way to make sure my rebate works it to circle the actual price paid (1.00)... And will they see that I used coupons and paid nothing for the Listerine Strips so not send me a rebate? Thanks, ~Paul |

| YMMV (your mileage may vary) Does the rebate form state that the coupon price will be deducted? If not, they should pay you the full amount listed $2.49. I would take a black marker and circle the price paid $2.49 making sure to cover (discreetly) the lower amount. It's worth a try to get the most. |
