| Lowes Foods Coupon Policy & FAQ 2009 Full Circle Coupon Manufacturer Coupon Policy Lowes Foods welcomes legitimate manufacturer coupons when the following requirements are met: Coupons must be in date. Coupons must match the item(s) purchased. Coupons must be presented at the time of purchase. To ensure product availability for all customers, we limit redemption to 4 coupons for 4 of the same item. For example, if you have five coupons for a specific cereal and have purchased five of the item, we will honor the coupon for up to four of the boxes of cereal. All sales taxes are paid by the customer at the full retail value of the item. Coupon value cannot exceed our retail price of the item; no cash back will be awarded. Double Coupons We will double up to 20 manufacturer coupons with a face value of $0.99 or less every day. No minimum purchase is required. Manufacturer coupons for FREE items or Buy One, Get One FREE items will not be doubled. Any manufacturer coupon that states “Do not double” will not be doubled. A doubled coupon will not be honored if the doubled amount exceeds the retail or sale price of the coupon item. No cash back will be awarded. Other Coupon Promotions From time to time, our manufacturer coupon promotions will be enhanced. For example, we may offer our customers the opportunity to triple their coupons. Special promotional opportunities will be featured in our circular or on-line. Internet Coupons We gladly accept legitimate internet coupons. However, there has been a growing number of fraudulent internet coupons in the marketplace. We are committed to protecting our customers, manufacturers and our company against this illegal activity. Therefore, Lowes Foods will practice the following guidelines for internet coupons: We will only accept printable internet coupons if they scan at checkout. We will not honor FREE Product coupons printed from the Internet. We will accept Buy One Get One FREE and other values that have a purchase requirement. We will accept internet coupons that have an expiration date. If no expiration date is visible, we cannot accept the coupon. Coupons will be rejected if they are distorted, altered or obvious duplicates. Coupons are non-transferrable, meaning they should not be photocopied or scanned and distributed to others. Coupons have unique serial numbers printed on them and follow industry-standard format. Any presented coupon that does not follow standard format will not be accepted. Internet coupon limits are the same as manufacturer and store coupons. If you have any questions on the standard format of internet coupons, you can verify at www.printcoupons.com. Store Coupons In order to redeem store coupons, a Lowes Foods rewards card must be used. Store coupons must be in date. All limits and purchase requirements must be followed. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere - what is their Triples policy? Is it the same as HT - limit on # of coupons per transaction and # per same item? Thanks! |

Does anyone know if they will actually do more than one transaction per day (more than 20/day)??

LyndaSLP posted about that in one of the other threads. In her experience, it is not linked to your card or tracked by your card. But as always, I am sure that inidivdual stores can enforce the rule.

Lowes Foods has discontinued accepting coupons at the self checkout lanes. This is a corporate decision "due to abuse". Went through today and used my coups and cs checked me out. We are very friendly there and he told me what has been happening. It was suggested before but now a policy. Well, considering that I don't push the envelope I am fine. See ya. |

I tried to use q's on some clearance stuff the other day and was told I couldn't "because the items are already marked down." The q's beeped and the cashier wouldn't put them through. Was she wrong? I see others posting that this worked for them... TIA |

countrymom2~ I have not recently purchased any clearance items using coupons at Lowes, but I think you should be able to. The reason why the coupons beep is probably because they use a generic "grocery" tag to mark the items down (at least they do at my store), so the register does not recognize that you bought the product on the coupon. This is also the way it works at my HT, but they just override it. I think you should have been able to use the coupons. I would stop by CS and explain.

Do they price match?

No Lowe's does not price match. But you should be able to use coupons on discounted/discontinued products. The cashier would just have to hand key it into the register. I know some stores are kind of strict on the coupon keying but if you ever run into that again I would either 1> Politley ask for a supervisor before your transaction is finished or 2> Go to the service desk after you pay and explain to them the situation. Or just say the cashier forgot to scan the coupon! LOL The should give you the cash back. Hope this helps!

I went to Lowes Foods today and purchased something from their clearance section. The cashier scanned my coupon for those items and it didn't scan. I didn't notice it until after she handed me my receipt. I asked her about it and she said that she didn't realize that it didn't scan. She handed the coupon back to me and told me to go over to customer service. The lady at customer service told me that the reason the coupon didn't go through was because they don't accept coupons on clearanced items. I told her that I had checked with someone when I was in the store earlier in the week and they told me that they would accept coupons for clearanced items but that they would enter it in as a vendor coupon. When I said that, she took the coupon and said that she would do it for me this once. Anybody else have any experience dealing with this situation? |

I know at my store it doesn't matter. If the q's and the item match up we will just force it through. It isn't fair to the customer just because the item is marked down. That's how I get so much cheap stuff anyways! LOL I will have to ask at work to see what the "policy" is and get back to you on it!

At my stores I have never been able to use a coupon on a clearance item. I even asked a manager and was told their policy is no. I never received a definitive answer from customer service so it is one of those things I chalk up to store differences.

Ok so here's the dish and this came straight from one of the my coporate people. We are to make customer service our number one priority. If we have to type in a .50 coupon to make the customer happy we are to do it. If you have a problem with a cashier not wanting to take the coupon ask for a supervisor and if you still don't get anywhere ask for a manager. You can also call the customer care line and they are VERY good at helping out. Bottom line: As long as the coupon matches the item the cashier should force it through. Hope this helps! |

Thanks so much! I will make sure I ask for a superviser if this happens again. The lady at customer service acted like she was doing me a huge favor.

Their coupon policy on the web has been updated. For a second I thought I accidently typed in HT's site address. The policies are similar but thankfully not the same. Still four like coupons! No more competitor coupons that are off individual items. ![]() Just competitor coupons off the entire order (none from drugstores). |

I have updated the OP of this thread with the new coupon policy found on Lowe's website. There are some changes, regarding competitor coupons and doubling. Just a heads-up!

| Yes, I have not had any issues using 2 coupons on BOGO items and there is nothing in the updated policy that states otherwise!

And I have found that they will double most DND coupons as well. They are not doubling the Cat q's or the smartsource q's found throughout the store anymore. Now those are major bummers.
