I just left Lowes. I had a small stack of qs. As I am going through them I notice that I have two .75 q for Tobasco sauce. They expire the end of the month. There was a shelf full and the sales tag said .99. So I was like yeah. Grab two bottles and go to the register. As I am watching the cashier ring the order up the tobasco rings up 3.XX - .97. So I am confused. I know my OOP should be close to 0 but she is telling me 2.21. I ask how much the tobasco sauce is and she said 2.50. I say no, the shelf said .99 (In my head I am doubting that I even seen .99). I walk back to the shelf and yes the tag said .99 but they stocked all the big bottles in the wrong spot. The guy walks back with me and said "yeah the .99 is for the 2oz this is 6oz" (or whatever size it was). So he tells me to take it up with the manager. Walk over with her and the same issue.

Is is just me or should they honor the price since they are the ones who stocked the shelves wrong? So my question is should I call the store manager tomorrow or leave it alone?

They should have given it to you for what the shelf price said. If it was me, I would have returned the item.. said I was never shopping there again... , and then go back in a few months when I am over it.

I agree. They should honor the price. It was their mistake not yours.

I agree they should not over stock the shelf with the big ones in the small section. I would call i hope you did not buy it and if you did i would tell them to either give you the difference or money back. That is misleading sometimes we just see what is in the section not what size. Call the store manager

Thanks! No I did not buy it. The manager was pointing out how many ounces were on the sales tag. Come on lady, I don't compare everything on the shelf with what is on the tag.

I know they do not want to take ownership for there stockers mistake on stocking the shelf wrong

I would probably just have said, I didn't realize it was for the smaller size as this was what was in the spot marked 99 cents. Then if they didn't give them to me for 99 cents I would just have them take them off the order. Our Tabasco sauce is Waaaaay up on the top shelf and I am too short to read any of the small numbers on those tags anyway.

Technically they were supposed to give it to you FREE per lowes policy. Regardless of it being in the wrong spot or not, they goofed.
