Yeah, I think it is similiar to the e-VIC that I've heard people talking about where you load coupons onto your card. However, at the bottom it says it can't be used with printed coupons and a lot of them were the same as what comes out in inserts and they are not doubled this way. Hmmmmm.....

btw, I knew about this because I got an email from Lowes that they were launching this new program.

I went and got it and it puts it on your Lowes card. You can pick from several pages of savings. Pretty cool. thank you !

Have you tried using coupons in combination with this? I'm just wondering if you get both discounts? That would be sweet!

I got the cereal and it took off my regular coupon and also the one off the card, so double savings !

I was going to let everyone know too that I signed up yesterday for the E-Coupons and then went today along with man. Q's and it took both off....The only thing I noticed on my Lowes sales flyer itself, it says the "ecoupons are online offer only, not manufacturer coupons"...

I like it, it will just take some time to remember and get used to

I don't know if they have this "glitch" fixed yet but a word of caution. The first time I shopped after loading these onto my card, the cashier started scanning items before she scanned my card. Anything that scanned before the card didn't get e-coupons deducted. Hopefully that's not a problem anymore but I won't let the cashier touch my stuff now until she scans my card.

I signed up for this today, but at the bottom of the page it states that these coupons cannot be combined with other manufacturers coupons.

Has anyone else tried this? I thought I saw that Kroger's linked coupons and MQ's will work together.

Any help / advice appreciated.

i have used it and it came off for me, at my lowes food the instasave comes off when the products comes up and at the end i have to total before scanning the coupon i use the self checkout.

Good to know. Sometimes I am slow getting my card out and they have half my stuff rung up before I can dig it out of my pocketbook.

I was at Lowes today and they have changed their policy on coupons. They are no longer letting customers check out with coupons at the self checkout. They were the last of the last, and I am sure that Bloom is next. I did find a pepsi coupon that I got from ebay that had a different expiration date from the date listed at the bottom. Never had that happen before.

I did a "trial run" on this the other day after reading this post. I downloaded the .55/2 coupon for the muffin mixes to my card and I also used the manufacturer coupon for the same amount. The insta-save came off and the manufacturer coupon doubled as well. HTH!

Note: your coupons will still double BUT you will earn no overage from your insta-savings card coupons.

I was at LF today.

I bought (4) boxes of Eggo waffles. On sale 1.66 a box.
After the first box, there is -0.75 insta-savings
Then (at the end) my 0.75/1 coupons scanned like this:
0.75 mfr coupon
0.75 doubled savings
0.75 mfr coupon
0.75 doubled savings
0.75 mfr coupon
0.64 doubled savings


Without the 0.75 insta-savings, I would've paid 0.64 for all 4 boxes. Thus my last coupon didn't double completely b/c I only had 0.64 left to pay on my Eggos.

The .75/1 Eggo coupons were from the Sunday Inserts. Not sure of the date, but it is in the database.

Just a word of warning from what happened to me. I put the instasave stuff on my card and then went to the store within a couple of hours of doing it, and it didn't come off for me. I think I'm going to do it the night before I go to the store next time just to make sure it has time to be applied.

I have been using the Insta save on my lowes card and it takes it right off as that item is scanned and I still can use a regular manuf. Coupon with it I have gotten 18 of the items so far and it is good on only one of that item.
