Starting this thread early.... please post here and tell us about your triple trips to Lowes Foods!!! I want to know what everyone got and how much they saved!!!! Happy triples tomorrow everyone!

I did 2 transactions this morning and paid $1.26 out of pocket, for 2 orders! Yipee! details can follow...

I didn't do well as I had hoped. I was only allowed to do one transaction. And they didn't scan all my coupons. I didn't realize this until I got home. Very frustrating and disappointing. They weren't friendly at all and complained about my coupons when they wouldn't scan or if they were over the sale amount.

I will try again tomorrow, but will be much more diligent in watching them scan my coupons. I like HT sooooo much better.

they used the Lowes coupon first (no overage...which I am fine with) and they got a little particular about the IP coupons. I had a .75 for the Jet Dry Turbo and it would not scan so she said that she could not use it.
Also after 20 coupons the last 2 did not even double...had I realized that, I would have waited to get those 2 items.
They were very friendly.

I did 3 transaction between 2 different stores. The 2nd store would only allow 1 transaction. I spent $15.04 for $123.45 worth of groceries.

Saved $39, paid $3.08. I got overage.

A little snafu at checkout:
Make sure the cashier doens't hit the TRIPLE button on the register before you give her all your coupons. Scan all of them first, then they should hit the triple button.

I told my cashier I had 20. I handed her half to make sure they got all scanned and watched (because sometimes they skip some, dont scan, drop them etc) She then hit the triple button before she scanned the rest, then the remaining 10 didn't triple. They can only hit that button 1x.

Not a big deal, Customer service gave me the refund, however I asked them please, in order to make it easier for everyone, just ask the cashier to hit the triple button at the END of the transaction, after all coupons have been scanned, ask the customer if he/she has any more coupons etc. The mgr. acted like it was my fault the cashier hit the triple button before she scanned all my coupons. Service and interaction left a LOT to be desired. Guess I'm spoiled by HT. I can't complain though, I did great today. And as I look at my receipt 2 of the .50 coupons didn't triple, and weren't 9s and weren't part of the refund! Argh!


Anyway, now I know. I've never done triples at Lowes before. It doesn't automatically triple up on the screen like at HT.

Okay- how great is my husband.. he went to work at 1am so he could come home for me to get to triples at 7am ( I was the only one in the store!) Love him dearly.
Not all my coupons tripled so I lost $3.00 and I don't know why.. should I go back or is that crazy..

Do you remember how much the Chex Mix bars were? I wasn't sure if they were included in the "selected varieties" of GM bars that there was a store coupon for. I am assuming they were?? I wish they would list what the selected varieties are! I only knew that Curves were included for sure, since they were pictured, and I did not want to take a chance without knowing! Thanks!

They were $3.15, but were on special of .65 off(I saw a sign on the shelf of 2/$5, I believe and they took .65 off on the bottom of my receipt). Total = $2.51

OK I have a question I made 2 trips to the same store today but different cashiers. The first time I had no problem I spent$9.00 and on my receipt it shows what was tripled and how much I saved on triples. OK the 2nd time I went and I didn't notice until I got home that on my receipt it has nowhere on there about triples. It just shows MFR coupon and then under that it says Double coupon savings and nothing about triples. Is everyones like this or did she forget to triple my coupons? Please help because if she didn't triple I am ggoing to get my money back

I don't think she tripled your coupons. That happened to me.

I got 21 items for $5.07 - My total came to $14.25 and then they looked at my receipt and told me to go to the serivce desk. I got back $9.18.

The cashiers have to hit a key at the end to triple your coupons.... lots of times they forget to do it. It has happened to me too! But, I have never had a problem getting CS to correct it.

Make sure that they are hitting the triples button, sometimes they forget to. If not then the coupons wont triple. Hth

I have made 2 trips... and spent a total of $14.25. Is it just me or are HT's triple events much better? I would have made 8 trips to HT to spend that much during triples!!!

BTW there are .35 steam fresh blinkie q's at fl. LW have them for $1 ea. The only deal that I will be going back for....

Dole salad is sometimes marked down to $1.69 bag if its expiring soon as it was this am, and there are .55 qs and blinkies out there. (at kroger). I forgot to post this before, I picked up three bags this am, .4 per bag.

While I don't think there were many "frees" at Lowes and I did spend more here than at HT, I'm excited I got more main menu foods instead of lots of junk. Ex, Green Giant Veggies were 1.25 each and there are .50 off 2 boxes.. so $1.00 for 2 is better than nothing.. steamfresh veggies 1.00 each, pillbury bisquits, pasta.. things I can make for my family daily instead of "run out of dinner options Hamburger helper" ( which I still got, but you know what I mean!)

I did 6 transactions today, 4 in the morning which I did one transaction took it to my car and then did the second and so on. Then I did two more this evening. I spent a total of $30 and got over $300 worth of groceries. FYI food lion has the blinkies for pillsbury rolls that are .75/3 and it triples. So if you get the ones on sale then it makes it .05 each!!!

I like HT triples better as well.
