Total before Q's 95.34 OOP $14.98 ***CLOSETOUT FINDS Frebreze Noticeables (Lavender only) for 5.98 w/$5 Q only .98 Trisents 2/$9.98 w 2/$4 Q's they would be 2/$1.98

I agree with you all- I don't think the deals for triples are as hot at Lowes as they are at HT. I think part of that is because overage is so unpredictable and confusing at Lowes. I also seem to have more problems with coupons not doubling/tripling there when they should. I have to check my receipt very carefully before I even leave the store. That being said though, I like doing triples at some place besides HT because at HT, I seem to buy the same things over and over again. It is nice to have some variety. And frankly, with the economy the way it is and all the uncertainty, I really need to take advantage of any good savings while I can. Instead of trying so hard to get a low OOP this time, I am really focusing on items that we use a lot and getting those if they are a good deal, even if they are not free or super cheap. HT has spoiled me in some ways, I guess, but I really need to save all I can and stock up right now! |

I am not too sure why there is no forum for Bloom. I know they are a sister store to Food Lion but they do their own things too. Well either way Bloom is doing triples for Friday 10/10 - Sunday 10/12! Maybe there will be better deals there? |

I must have been feeling spunky this morning because I ended up doing 5 transactions today. I went to 3 different stores and ALL of them were telling customers to take their groceries to the car and come back in and do another transaction! But after feeling so spunky, I am worn out and tired now! All together in all transactions I spent 34.50 and saved 210.34, that's including coupons and sales. I was pleased with everything because I bought what we actually needed or could use soon. Not just trying to get the "frees". Pretty good experience for my first Lowes triples!

I went to Lowes in Wake Forest, NC yesterday for my very first ninja-coupon-shopping trip. I explained the whole thing to my two teenage boys and we all went together. It was a good experience and it helped to actually do it, b/c I've been nervous about it. OOP was $80, which is alot and something I will keep working on, but I did save $40. I was a little discouraged at first, but the kids were so encouraging and they were impressed that we saved so much. I'm getting into the hang of it. Going back today for a trip and then tomorrow. Then I'll start on the sales at the other stores in the area (I have 6 grocery stores within 15 minutes from my house!) So, lots of room for improvement, but a good start nonetheless |

Good job Collete! You are sowing some good habits by bringing your sons. It will help them when they get out on ther own. Especially when they see how much you can save.

I went last night and thought I would have plenty of time to shop but as I was walking into the store my sister called from the airport (she had landed and I needed to go pick her up)...So I did 2 transaction with just 3 nesquick in each transaction (they told me only 3 of same coupon then as I was leaving I saw a sign that said 4 and the manager was like of its 4 I didnt know) but anyway I got 4 nesquick for $1.22. I know when HT did triples it was free with overage but I didn't have the coupons then but I like .20 each is a good price can't even buy the milk and chocolate for that... I will be going back today and tomorrow... On a side note I went at 11pm and I had the entire store to myself...I will be making these last night trips again. |

Well this was my first experience with triples at Lowes. I knew exactly what I wanted to get but I didn't add up the amounts like i normally do. So here goes what I got. 1st transaction 2 Oral B advantage toohbrushes used 0.75 coupon (should have had 0.52 overage) 4 Fruit Roll Ups used 0.50/2 and lowes coupon (FREE!) 1 Synders cheddar pretzel sandwiches used 0.75 coupon ($1.24) 4 Pop Secret used 0.50/2 and lowes coupon (FREE!) 2 Jello Pudding Singles used 0.50 coupon (should have had 0.92 overage) 2 Honey Nut Cheerios used 0.55coupon and lowes coupon (0.35) 2 Lucky Charms used 0.55 coupon and lowes coupon (0.35) 3 Betty Crocker cookie mixes used 0.75 coupon and lowes coupone (should have had ($2.38 overage) OOP $4.75 Saved $51.51 I am mad about that transaction though because everything should have been free! I should have had $3.82 in overage and the two things I did have to pay for was $2.64. But I mixed my lowes coupons up with my manufactures coupons. I should have waited till the end and then gave them my lowes coupons right before they tripled them. 2nd transaction 1 Eggo waffles used 0.55 coupon (0.45) 5 boxes Betty Crocker potatoes used 0.40 coupons and lowes coupons (should have had 1.00 overage) 3 Arnold bread used 0.55 coupons (1.62) 2 Country Crock Whipped Squeeze used 0.55 coupon (0.72) 11 Yoplait whips yogurt used 0.60/3 and 2 buy4get1Free coupons (1.35) 1 Breyers kids multipack yogurt used 0.50 coupon (1.00) 2 Betty Crocker Fruit Rollups used 0.50/2 and lowes coupons (FREE!) 3 Hot Pockets Twists used 0.50 coupons (1.50) OOP $5.12 Saved $44.57 I was happier with the second total since it seemed to match up with my figures. My store was out of the Betty Crocker Warm Delights so I asked for a raincheck and they also wrote on the raincheck that coupons were to be TRIPLED!! |

I'm confused about the Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks deal. I've seen it posted as FREE, but shouldn't it be $1.50 for 2? LF coupon = 2/$3 ($1.50 each) MF coupon = $0.50/2 tripled = $1.50 off 2 = $0.75 each? |

Well I made another trip back to my store this morning to see what the deal was with my receipt yesterday and the manager said OMG I am so sorry she didn't triple your coupons and she gave me back $8.76 and then when I started walking off she called the girl over to where she was I hope she didn't get into trouble because everyone makes mistakes.

| You're right, they aren't free...the same goes for the Pop Secret, it's 2/$3 with the LF coupon and then the $.60 off 2 triples to $1.80= $1.20 for 2 boxes

It didn't exactly work out like I thought, since Its so confusing, but it was a good try. I might sit out next time. The service at my Lowes isn't so hot anyway. HT has spoiled me for sure. I went today, used 18 q's only 11 tripled, the receipt was wacky, different from yesterday when I purchased near about the same items. When he hand keyed some q's then they didnt double or triple! CS was looking at me like I was nuts for asking about it. OOP should have been about $4 but was $9. Oh well, cant complain, got about $45 in groceries.

Mine didn't work out right either... I bought frees or really cheap except for a few items and I ended up paying over $12 I knew that couldn't be right...finally figured out my Lowes card does not work. Apparently after two years of not using it they cut you off...but I want to know why no one figured it out..I did two transaction last night and then this one today... So it was a nightmare to figure out what was on sale. I ended up getting back like $4 then I went o the car and realized she only had 19 coupons so back into the store and we figured out that she keyed in a coupon cause it won't scan and it doubled but didn't triple so she gave me back the .75 for that then I realized that the hamburger helper rang up $2 and I bought 3 but she only gave me $2 off so that was another $1 so I ended up paying about 6 and I got (4) nesquick (.80) (3) Hamburger Helper (.60) (4) Success Rice (free) (1) Hormel Complete Dinner (.50) (2) Spagetti Os (.98) (2) Hunts Tomatoes (.60) (2) Clorox Toilet Cleaner (free) (4) Hormel canned chicken (.56) (1) Log Cabin Syrpe (1.35) (1) Luzan (sp) Iced Tea (free) So not too bad cause I actually got stuff we will use... |

| The fruit snacks was a typo on my part- it is actually 1.50 for 2 after coupons. The database is showing that the pop secret IP is .60/1 which would make it free.

The DB has it listed wrong or it may be from another time, right now the link takes you to 60c off of 2 Pop Secret...I just reported it as incorrect.
