I've noticed many saying they haven't shopped at Lowes Foods in a while. Overage no longer works like it used to work at Lowes.
I'm going to include my explanation of how it now works since I'm betting someone in this thread will question how they do overage.

Example:
Meow Mix cat treats 1.29
Buy 1- coupon scans .75 doubled .54=FREE
Buy 2- coupon 1 .75 doubled .75, coupon 2 .75 doubled .33=FREE
Buy 3- coupon 1 .75 doubled .75, coupon 2 .75 doubled .75, coupon 3.75 doubled .12=FREE
Buy 4- coupon 1 .75 doubled .75, coupon 2 .75 doubled .75, coupon 3 .75 doubled .75, coupon 4 .75=.09 overage

Instead of how it used to double up to original item price it now recognizes the sale price and only doubles to it. The computer takes coupons off based on like item total prices. Meaning with the Meow mix when you buy four it's basing it on 5.16 in Meow mix instead of each Meow mix item at 1.29.

Overage comes into play when the first few coupons take care of the price of all the items but it will still take the last few coupons at face value. In the example above when you buy 4 the first three coupons take care of all of the meow mix total except .66. The last coupon will not be adjusted down to .66 but will scan at face value causing .09 overage.

Depending on item price it can sometimes be better overage wise to buy 2, 3 or 4 at a time. It can be a pain in the butt to figure out and I really wish it was the old way again.

I think we are just getting started on posting deals (at least I hope so!). I am going to pull out all of my under $1 coupons tomorrow and start checking prices through Lowes online.

As for the weekly ads, let's hope for some good sale prices!! They do not put out a full ad on Tuesdays like they used to, and triples start Wednesday, so that makes it harder to find the deals ahead of time!

How did you check online? I looked on the site but only found lowes to go which you have to sign up for and special orders. I tried since I thought the following might be good for triples, but I haven't gone through my inserts yet.

Looking at the 1st post they are showing IP listed and they are listed as tripled making thing free. If the IP scans, I'm thinking that they will triple.

Looks like they are regularly 1.99, so tripling the .50/1 insert coupon will make them 0.49. They are on sale this week for 1.79, but I am assuming that ends before triples. I don't know for sure though.

Their coupon policy states that they accept IPS if they scan. It does not specify if they will double/triple IPs, but I think they do!

Thank you so much for all that you are doing for us. I didn't realize that it was as difficult as it is. You are right, definitely spoiled by HT. I was all excited to start prepping. For HT triples I had organized all of my coupons into separate transactions in ziploc baggies with shopping lists (to make sure that I met all of their guidelines), I wanted to do the same for Lowes. You are doing a great job and I am so excited that I get to do triples just 3 weeks after HT triples.

I am not sure! When I was checking for good deals on Tennessee Pride items through Lowes online, it was listed as Tennessee Pride Gravy- Sausage, but there was no picture available! Maybe someone else can post and tell us! There are also a few Tennessee Pride items on sale the week of triples that are good deals (the sale prices are in this thread:
