I use this too. It works wonders for me. I work at a bank so I constantly use Purell or wash my hands if I need to do other things but handle money. My hands were a wreck! and now they are all nice and smooth!

I have terrible skin allergies that get triggered from chemicals in so many products out there. What's really helped my skin is using Aquaphor (sp) on a regular basis. It's a bit pricier than other lotions but so worth it! Eucerin works good too.

Ladies, I do have old hands. They have changed diapers on 5 kids and hung out clothes (and diapers) for the whole family in all kinds of weather. In my youth, I was really a clean-freak and felt that I had to super-size all the cleaning jobs. So I mopped the kitchen and bath floors every day. Guess how - hands & knees. Cleaned bathroom fixtures and kitchen counter/sink every day. With cleanser and followed this with a Lysol wash. Yes, I was a nut-case, basket case or whatever. But the craziest thing I did was use lots and lots of Clorox. Clorox in the wash, clorox in the cleaning process, etc. Soak, rinse, wring by hand (no rubber gloves). Occasionally, I thought I really had to deep clean so I would pour Clorox directly onto the rag and swipe things with it. You guessed it, it would really do a number on my hands.

I say all this to say, that our hands can take a lot of abuse. Cracked bleeding hands were not uncommon for me. But today, they are much better. I've grown a little wiser and a lot more careful. I've reached a stage where I can afford hand lotion or cream and I use it faithfully.

So I am saying this to say, take as good care of your hands as you can. Use as much as you can to protect them. But remember, that they are your medal of labor of love to your family if you can't take as good a care as you'd wish.

There are lots of good lotions and creams out there. Use the best you can afford (CVS has lots of good deals) and use it faithfully. Yves Rocher has a couple of hand creams that I really like. But don't use all the time because I'm trying lots of different ones that I got on my visits to CVS.
