I fell down steps when I was in third grade, and not only was my ankle sprained, I had torn the ligaments also. I do hope he is feeling better. Do you have an ace wrap? It will help keep the swelling down.

OMG! I did the same thing when I was a kid! I broke my arm roller skating, and just kept on skating and enjoyed the whole party. That night my dad came home from work, took one look at me and said to my mom "This girl's arm is broken! Why didn't you take her to the doctor!" I had never complained or anything. When we finally went to the doctor, I had broken my arm in 2 places and my wrist was almost shattered. But I was having fun! I was 8 at the time.

i broke my wrist on a motorcycle when i was around the 3rd-4th grade and went about 4 days without telling my parents.i hid it pretty well until the pain was just too unbearable.Bad mistake,my wrist was never the same. The doctor wanted to put me to sleep and rebreak it and i wasn't going to have any part of that.My dad left it up to me.All i really remember was several people came in and held me down while the doctor started pulling on it

My parents have never let me live it down that I didnt complain.. The story about the wrist....

I was like 6.. we had a huge family reunion at a state park... We the kids, me included, went to play on the playset. All the adults were within walking distance and kind of watching. Anyway, we all started to go down the BIG slides (you know the ones that look soooooo big when you are little..)... anyway somehow I fell off the top when I was starting to slide down. I started to cry and the older kids took me to my mom. Well after like 5 minutes I stopped crying and told them it just hurt a little.. they got some ice but when I realized all the other kids were going back out to play.. I wanted to go to. At this point (not ten minutes after falling)... my parents just assume I was a little shoken up from the fall but nothing was wrong. I mean I WANTED to go play.

A few days later.... when I just hadnt been using the arm much and it was just a bit swollen my mom decided to take me in... HAHA

Get the story right: I didn't kick him with the ball. I just kicked him. (I AM JUST KIDDING! I WOULD NOT KICK ANYONE!)

If you ask my son, he will tell you whose fault it is: "The ball's!"
