BIG BOO here. Store is wiped out of potatoes and I was only able to get 5 mac & cheese.

Make sure to keep your eyes peeled..I found the potatoes on an endcap by the cereal and the Mac N cheese on a shelf next to frozen food (where they keep the ice cream cones). Hope you all get what you need before the sale ends.

If I were you regarding the rain check you need to have them put that the items were out of stock and you would like to receive the $5.00 OYNO either on a GC or for them to force print the catalina.

I would bring an additional piece of paper for them to write the details on and the sales ad and and staple that all to the rain check.

My store will only do the sale price of the item, not any promotions like cats or gift cards, are other stores not like that?

That is true, however, it is up to the store manager how they wish to handle out of stock items and store promos.

Some stores will provide you compensation including a GC or forcing a cat to print. YMWV

Some stores handle things like the GM promo differently with regards to rain checks.

Last day of the sale, my store was cleared. Got a raincheck but was informed that the cat would NOT be forced & they didn't know when they would receive stock (claimed the warehouse was out)...the next morning I was there to scope out the Gwaltney stock...lo & behold, the bc taters were fully stocked in all their glory. I call shenanigans
