Feel so brain dead I can't figure this out! Powerade buy 10 get 5 free. Combine with buy 2 get one free. How many powerades would I get with 20 coupons, and what would they cost each if you average with the free ones too?

buy 10 *get 5 free (these all average out to $.67 each so 15 x $.67)
use 5 Qs (1 for every 2 you're buying)
*Get 5 more free (1 for every Q used)
repeat this 4 times (to equal 20 coupons)

Overall totals would be: 80 bottles
Buy 40 *get 20 free (you'll pay $.67 for each of these 60=$40.20)
Use 20 Qs
*get 20 more free

Wouldn't it be this instead??

Buy 15 @ $.67 (This is how Kroger registers will ring up the B10G5 store sale)
Use 1 - B10G5 coupon (Taking off $3.35)
Use 5 - B2G1 coupons (Taking off another $3.35)

Total for 15 bottles = $3.35 or $.22 each

Please correct me if I'm wrong!!

Oops- sorry for the assumption! I don't see why you couldn't use both as you are still purchasing all of them @$.67 each. Then after using the B10G5, you still have 10 that you are purchasing at $.67 each to use your B2G1 free q's on.

BUT now that I'm relooking at it... you might be only able to use 3 of the B2G1 q's as you would only have 10 left to work with after the B10G5 coupon.

So the total would come to $4.69 or $.31 each.

I don't think you can look at the Kroger sale as a true B10 G5 Free. I think you need to look at it as each bottle being $.67.

So you're transactions would be:
Buy 15 @ $.67 = $10.05
Use 5 - B2G1 (takes off $3.35)

$10.05 - $3.35 = $6.70/15 = $.446 each

This is what I think happens as well. You will purchase 15 items and the register will reduce all the items to .67 cents each. If it does it that way then you can use 5 of the buy 2 get 1 coupons.

I have some 1.00/2 coupons I want to use.. So I'm trying to figure out how it is going to work out as well LOL.

Buy 15 @ $.67 each = $10.05
Use the limit of 5 - $1/2 q's for that transaction = $5.05 or $.33 each

It doesn't work that way in my area. I've done this 4 times so far at 3 different stores.

On all receipts, the first 10 ring up at $1.00. The 5 free ones ring up at $1.00 but then on the second line they read "Free Beverage" and take $1.00 off for each like an e-coupon.

So they don't ring up at .67 but at $1.00 whether they're free or not.

Yeah depending how they ring up it changes the final price. Guess I'll have to see. My ad says limit 3 (45) per transaction, so I'll use 15 qs on 45 bottles and see what my total is!

You will have to do seperate transactions. They only allow five like coupons per transaction.

There's no limit on them TinkleTushies. The only stipulation on them is the normal "one coupon per purchase".
