I saw a sign in Kroger yesterday for either buy $20 or $25 I'm thinking $20 worth of Huggies products get a ONYO for $5.... Started May 13-26th. Anyone else see this? Have any good match up ideas?

I posted this in the Catalina's thread but will post it here also, hope that is ok.

Our store in Central AR is running the "spend $20, get $5 on next order" cat through 5/29. There is a sign posted in store and it was also advertised in this Sunday's SmartSource insert. I also loaded the "spend $35 get $5" SavingStar coupon. I did two separate transactions, each time buying 2 jumbo packs of diapers and 1 soft pack of wipes. I used (2) $3 diaper mfg coupons (CVS RIB magazine) and (1) $0.50 wipes coupon from today's SS that doubled to $1. I spent $20.97 before coupons and $13.97 after. I got a $5 cat after each transaction. For two transactions I spent $27.94, got back $10 in Catalina's and expect $5 back from SavingStar. That's like $12.94 for four jumbo packs of diapers and two packages of wipes! I averaged it out to be like $3 per diaper pack and $0.50 per wipes pack. Not too shabby in my opinion!

How funny, I just posted this exact same scenario in the savingstar sticky thread, but without the $3 coupons. I wasn't sure if the small packs of wipes would work for the in-store $5/$20 cat promo; thanks for confirming they do! Great job!!!

So this should work.. Buy 10 packs of wipes and use (10) .50/1 coupons. After the coupons double and you get the $5 catalina, shouldn't you pay about $5 for 10 packs of wipes or .50 a piece?

yes. I did 11 packs @ 1.99. used 11 .50 off. paid 11 something. got back.$5. rolled it and got more!

I have 2 questions....1) am I reading the post correctly that the $5 cat rolls? And 2)my store only doubles up to 5 like coupons, how did you use so many? Thanx....

My daughter is expecting, and I want to start a diaper/wipe stockpile for her.... :-)

1) Yes, it rolls.
2) Different stores have different coupon policies, and some cashiers don't pay attention to how many like coupons you are using, especially if you are using a lot of different coupons for that transaction.
