I noticed of the late that quite a few Kroger threads get moved to Groan, Gripes and Rants.... Is this necessary? I had started a thread a couple months back wondering if other readers have noticed how Krogers sales aren't as good as they used to be. It got moved and once it got moved the discussion ended pretty quickly. Now today I just noticed the discussion on Tripling and Doubling Coupons got moved as well. I feel like since it got moved the discussion on that will end since many Kroger posters, including myself, don't read the Groans, Gripes and Rants. I personally don't have time to check that section of AFC. I usually just quickly check the Kroger section. If we're discussing Kroger can't the thread be listed under the Kroger section of this board?

Anybody have any thoughts on this??? Sorry, I really am not the type of person to complain but I really don't like that the Doubling and Tripling thread got moved.

No hard feelings....just questioning why it has to be done.

I didn't even know where the groan and gripe section was. I would never look there for a kroger discussion.

It really depends on how the "discussion" is going. If people are being constructive and staying focused on the topic at hand, it will most likely stay. However, if it becomes a whine-fest, it's no longer appropriate for a store forum.

I think VABB & Bette do a GREAT job keeping the Kroger forum tidy & pertinent!

That's correct. We often move things after they have been reported by members who are looking for deals.

We try to keep the forums focused on deals. It's ok to vent now and then, but the appropriate place to do that is in the Gripes and Groans forum.

Just an FYI, if you subscribe to the thread (I often do this by posting on the thread, since my settings automatically subscribe me if I post on a thread) then the thread will continue to show up on your subscribed threads page, each time a new post is made. So even if it the thread is moved to another forum, you can still keep track of it. Hope that helps!
