On my shopping trip today, I found that Krogers had cart after cart of different clearances. First, there was a small freezer (upright) with Ezekial Bread, Van's waffles, Boca chicken patties, and Veggieburgers all marked $1. That Ezekial bread was a shocker- usually, it's over $4.

Also, there were carts filled with Mom's Best Cereal (but they're cheaper when you catch them on Megas), Betty Crocker frosting (in the spray can), Kroger food colorings ($1.24), and some random things like Good News cat litter that had a whole in the side of the bag, but that wouldn't be everywhere of course. I only hooked up on the Van's and Ezekial bread today. I was too excited about broc. and 4pk tomatoes for $1.

I love these! I found a Brita Pitcher for $7 and a 3 pack of Brita filters for $7! Also, I found 3 packs of dog bones for $.97!!

I saw some of those same things at my store today, too. Gotta go back and get some more of the delish $1 broccoli. The floral dept. also had great markdowns to $0.99 on cut flowers ~~ perfect for taking to the nursing home.

Oooh, it was TEMPTING!! But, it wasn't chocolate, so I didn't have any use for it! I thought about buying it for the Boyscout Blue and Gold banquet where the kids are supposed to bake a cake and decorate it in a theme..it's a father/son thing, but since Aidan's dad is a deadbeat, I do it with him. But, they had orange and green and it wouldn't really have worked well for our Pirate theme.

Wow, wish I'd found the Brita!!! I'd have bought up a ton of the filters to make sure I didn't have to pay full price for them later.

Yep, I'll be going back for more broc. too, on Sunday. I picked up 2 HUGE ones Tues.
