| Rumors of new Kroger policy
So - there is word of a new Kroger coupon policy in Facebook. The word is that it will be a better policy for the customer and the fb blogger that posted it says we should be happy as it's changes for the good. No details have been released yet. Anyone here heard anything? Sent from my iPhone using AFullCup

huh its kinda of hard to clear the shelf here. they limit 2 like coupons per day. i have 3 other krogers that don't have the crazy limit but they are too far away unless i'm in the area anyway.

"UPDATE on the NEW Kroger policy! Its looking good and once the employees are trained with the new policy it will be released!! ALSO more GREAT changes and updates coming to KRoger! If you havent switched to Kroger you should NOW!!"The above is from the fb blog that Shashahx posted about. Unfortunately, this may only be a regional thing. The blogger is in the Lexington, KY region. I have a feeling it's going to be a change in the fuel rewards program. We are in the same region, and we currently only get a max of .10 off per gallon. I would love if we could get the $1 off that other regions are getting. |

Here in Katy TX they changed the fuel rewards policy in April. Apparently the Greater Houston area was a pilot area. I so hope this change isn't what changed for us. They did change the fuel rewards. for every 100$ you can save .10 cents. so at $1000 you can save up to a dollar at the pump. But that is only good up to 35 Gallons, and It doesn't roll over. In exchange for those great fuel rewards that won't fill up my husband and my vehicles, they got rid of the double/triple coupons. They have said they might have "promotional" double coupon days, but who knows. |

Here in Waverly, Ohio , Kroger is changing the fuel deal where if you spend $100 you can get 10 off a gallon of gas. So, if I spend $100 and then spend $80.00 in gas, with a 20 gallon gas tank am I really saving $2.00.

![]() I would have to spend $1k in just 2 months to get that, as here our points expire. If I do not use my April points by May 31st, then I lose them. Don't use my May points by June 30th? They vanish! But there have been times when I've been able to save up to $.50/gal and that sure helps! I hope your area will start to allow you more than just $.10/gal. Good luck! |

It takes some creativity to get the $1 off. I use the gift cards and get very close all the time. Some options that are easy are things like lowes, home depot, shell gas cards, visa pre paid...they have hundreds. Not exactly convenient bit it saves a bunch with some monthly planning.

No change for my region in KY. Still only a max of .10 off per gal. I know many people here don't care about the fuel perks. But if I could even get .20 or .30 off per gallon once a month, it would be worth it. As it is, I regularly have $600-700 fuel rewards saved up and they just go to waste. .10 off is not worth my time. The closest gas station to me is regularly .10 cheaper than Kroger. |

In Houston they have already switched things up giving us their "fabulous" (cough-cough) $.10 off at the pump for every $100 you spend. The most I have been up to is $.60 per gallon which sounds good, about a $12.00 savings, but between me and my husband I rarely get that high. The norm is $.20 per gallon before one of us needs to refuel, more of an average of $4.00 savings. We fill up about 6 times combined (hubby 4 times, me 2 times...monthly) so I'm guessing our savings is an average of $24.00 a month. The down side is that they took away our double/triple coupons. I saved a lot more than $24.00 on double/triples. I used to get excited when I saw a coupon that was $.25 or $.35 cents, not anymore! I would much rather have double/triples back than the gas savings. However, like mapleguy said...buy the gift cards to get double points. I have been doing that but the novelty of running to Krogers to get a gift card to where I am going shopping is becoming more of yet another errand to do in my busy schedule. |

I'm in KY too but don't drive, so I really hope it's something other than gas.

I am in the Louisville region and one of my favorite cashiers let me see the new coupon policy tonight. One of the things it said was that transactions will be limited to three printable coupons. It also said that you can only use one man q per item. He said some lady went into the store that I shop at and tried to use FIVE man qs on ONE item. Needless to say she was upset when they wouldn't let her. It also said that you can use one man q and one store q together. I wish I would've asked him to let me read the rest!
