Just heard from a friend that is a Bakery Manager that Kroger is going to stop doubling/tripling coupons in the next two weeks. She said they took down any signs stating doubling/tripling coupons. Anyone else hear any rumors?

I hope that is not the case. I will check when i go this weekend to see if the banners are still up. I would seriously be surprised by this change as those that coupon go there just for that reason.. otherwise they can just got to Walmart.

I shop at Smiths which is a Kroger store, and they don't double; or triple here. I wish they did, I get jealous when I see all of your OOP and my is never near those totals . I hope they don't stop it where you guys are because that would mean there will never be a chance they would change their policy here.

The Krogers in Bryan doubled/tripled my Qs today. And they still had their banner up advertising the double/triple Qs.

I think they would loose too much business that way...yes there are us that are hard core couponers and save 60 to 75% every week with the coupon...but there are also the casual couponers who only use a couple each week. I hope that isn't true because this is how I can afford to feed my large family on a low budget.

Kroger @ West Lake Houston & 1960 doubled my q's today, no problem.

The store in Bryan doubles/triples?!?! Why was I not aware of this? The Kroger on Texas doesn't. Thats where I always shop. I guess I'll be changing stores.

i'm in the dallas/ft.worth area and really hope they dont quit doing it over here, i think they would lose lots of business if they do.... this is why tom thumb is always dead, they only double or triple one alike coupon

I just got the ad from Kroger today and I notice that they don't have the usual part at the bottom about coupon doubling and I am in Ohio. I don't know what happen, should I panic,( or just go to Giant eagle, Ha ha.

I contacted 3 different kroger's in my area (just north of houston in spring, tx) and they stated that they have not heard anything about this. I would assume at least the managers would know already.

The Kroger on Rock Prarie in College Station did not have any signs up tonight about discontinuing their double/tripling.
I am very sorry for those poor folks in the Houston area. I hope you guys do not pass the Q test and your doubling/tripling is reinstated!

There was a post above about the Bryan Kroger, the one right off Hwy 6... They do dub/trip AND they take my Wags RRs. I had a manager tell me that as long as they say Manufacturers Coupon you are good to go! I usually have to explain that to the cashier and assure them that the Q will not beep when scanned. The Krogers on Texas will take my RRs, but I don't really like that store. The one on RP will not accept the RRs. I guess these things really are YMMV.

I SO hope this is not true. So very very sorry for all those in Houston. If and when it happens I hope you all call and write and complain and protest the bad change I'll call and complain for you too!!
