IheartQs08- that looks delicious! Last night I wanted to make sloppy joes and realized I forgot to stop and get buns. Hate eating them on bread because it gets all soggy! I rolled out the biscuits flat, spooned some sloppy joe meat mixture into the center and pinched the sides shut. Placed the pinched sides down and baked them for 15 minutes. Think like...sloppy joe hot pocket ![]() They were delicious and for once my three year old didn't destroy a shirt eating one! |

[quote=IheartQs08;2743483]I got 53 Biscuits so far and made my very first chicken pot pie couple nites ago and it was delicious. I'm going to have to try the Cream Cheese Clouds, they sound sooo Yum-Oh as Rachel Ray would say =) That looks so good. Do you have a link for your recipe or can you post it? I hope you don't mind mind sharing it with us. Thanks. |

y'all have me hungry for biscuits. Yes, I have my stash. Just can't decide what to try first. I found this recipe. I am sure pillsbury or hungry jack canned biscuits do not matter. Hungry Jack Biscuit Taco Casserole 1 16 oz jar Medium Taco Sauce 1 12 oz can Hungry Jack Refrigerated Buttermilk Flaky Biscuits 1 - 1 1/2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese 1 - 1 1/2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese 1 2.25 oz can sliced ripe olives, drained 1/2 lb ground beef 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper (optional) 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper (optional) 1 4 oz can mushroom pieces and stems, drained (optional) 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees. lightly grease 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Spread taco sauce evenly over botton of greased dish. 2. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Place biscuit pieces in taco sauce; turn to coat. Sprinkle biscuits with 1/2 to 1 cup of the Cheddar cheese, 1/2 to 1 cup of the mozzarella cheese and the olives; mix gently. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until bubbly. 3. While this is baking, in a large skillet, combine groud beef, bell peppers and mushrooms. Cook until beef is browned. Drain. 4. Sprinkle rremaining 1/2 cup Chedar cheese and 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese over mixture in casserole; top with ground beef mixture. Bake an additional 5 to 7 minutes or until mixture bubbles around edges. |

I've been making this recipe for years using regular Pillsbury canned biscuits, but it should work for the Grands, too. Peanut Butter Biscuit Twists 1/2 cup brown sugar 3 T. water 1 T. margarine 1/4 t. cinnamon 1/2 t. vanilla 1 can of biscuits 1/4 cup peanut butter In an 8" square pan, melt the first 5 ingredients. Separate biscuits. Flatten each to a 3" oblong. Spread peanut butter on each oblong biscuit. Twist each biscuit 3 or 4 times; place in pan with the melted ingredients. Bake 12-20 minutes at 400 degrees or 'til golden brown. Cool 3 minutes. Invert pan to remove rolls. Serve warm. |
