Can you use paper coupons and still use your kroger card and get the coupons taken off? Like chex mix I have .50 coupons then I added them to my card, how will it work?

So I finally went down to Kroger today to try to learn their store and system. Here's how I did:

1 box Krusteaz Pancake Mix (-0.50 mfq doubled)
1 Playtex Gloves (-1.00 mfq)
4 Carnation Evaporated Milk (-2 - 0.50/2 mfq doubled)
2 Activia Yogurt (-2 - 0.50/1 mfq doubled)
1 Steamfresh meal (-Free mfq wyb 4 veggies)
4 Steamfresh sauced veggies (-4 - 0.50/1 mfq doubled)
1 head of lettuce
4 1 lb bars of cojack (-2 - 1.00/2 mfq)
3 2 litres of Coke
1 Orbit Gum (didn't need this but I wanted to make sure I hit 20! )

Total - $18.69

coupon savings of 18.99
mega sale savings of 10.00
ad savings 24.17

Total savings of 73%

You can get e coupons from Shortcuts.com - FREE Grocery Coupons that link to your grocery card and Grocery Coupons You just enter your card number on the site and it automatically loads it onto your card. Most stores allow ecoupons and paper coupons to be used together. You will want to contact your kroger and find out what value of coupons they double and if there is a limit of how many they double. Get the sunday paper every week and match coupons up with your ad. There is a database at the top of the page under coupons that you can use to find what coupons are available. You can also print coupons and order coupons from a clipping service. These sites are also listed under the coupon tab at the top of the page. Just read the threads here and you will find lots of deals in your store.

Okay ladies, I see you've been tearing it up at Kroger all week! I'm back from HT triples land to take advantage of one last fling with the Mega deals. Man it can be tough switching back and forth between stores/deals, too many rules to remember. I hope I can get in the grove though because tomorrow is my last shot at this round at Kroger.

5 Pillsbury Ready to Bake Cookies

Total of 40 items (all Mega Event) for $19.02 OOP! I was excited to get all the Carnation evap milk totally free and the chocolate chips for $0.99/bag! My savings was $64.53 or 78%! I love how often they do these Mega Events.

I scored at Dillons (Kroger) today! $243.00 down to $57 with coupons and everything. The front end manager made a comment that I was the reason they weren't getting raises because I didn't pay full price for my groceries. I guess I'll take that as a joke, but I'm not sure if he meant it that way. This was a great sale!

If your dillons/kroger takes expired I used my Temptation cat treats with the mega sale and got them free mine expired on the 31st of last month

susanstrad, I had a FL manager make a similar comment to me. Way I see it is #1 they have no business making a comment like that to a customer #2 if you don't like your job feel free to move on. I haven't had a raise in 3 years and our clients don't use coupons ~ so who should I blame? And quite frankly, if my boss overheard me make a comment like that to a client he'd probably fire me on the spot so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore.

I had my best trip yet 2 Kroger's. My total bill was $384 I spent only $141. A saving of 63%. That also included my weekly stuff I have 2 buy that not on sale...I was pretty impressed with myself. the cashier said he had never seen so many coupons.

I hate to say it, Moggy, but I'm krogered out . I think I went all but 2 days over the last 2 weeks. The 3 like coupon restriction really hinders the process. No plans to go again this week, but there's still today and tomorrow left here. We'll see. Maybe I'll go tonight with DS when DH takes the girls to the monster truck madness show.
