I am new to Kroger shopping, but have went in with coupons and list in hand and I still pay more than I expect. Tonight I bought 10 mega items and tried to understand my receipt, for instance. I bought 4 carnation ev milk, it should have been .50c. My receipt shows PC .19 then next to it 1.00. Does this mean that I paid .81c for cream? Do you have to buy 10 of the same product to get that price when the ad says " FINAL COST EACH WHEN YOU PURCHSE TEN" ? Is the pc list the price that was kroger savings and the price next to it is the price that your paying? If so, I am getting screwed! I did get the $5.00 mega sale discount, I even went to the service desk and she said that it would take a rocket scientist to explain those receipts and she couldn't do it.

I believe that the amount in bold under "PC" is the amount of the discount from the original price, the 1.00 would be the sale price of the product. With the Mega Sale, it takes the entire 5.00 off near the bottom of the receipt, you should see the credit in bold "Mega Offer" 5.00-B. That $5 off is what makes the Mega Sale price .50 on the Carnation (basically, .50 off of each of the 10 mega sale items). HTH

And remember that M.E. marks a little [+] next to your item, so that you know it was included in the M.E. pricing.

Here's something else I just learned from the Self Scan cashier...If you ever go through self checkout, and see PC on the screen next to the item you just scanned, that means that there are savings on that item, so don't forget to scan your Kroger card! Found this out when my niece wanted to get some clearance tattoos, so I gave her .75 to get them. She went through Self Scan, and they rang up full price. Had to scan my Kroger Card to get the clearance price. HTH
