| No B1G1 q AND $.55 off q TOGETHER???
Just came from Kroger and was told that I couldn't use the B1G1 Reese's q's with the $.55 off any Reese's candy q's. I was buying 8 candy bars and thought for sure that I was right, that I could use them all. Manager/Cashier argued, so I let it go in case I was wrong. Her argument was that I'd be getting them all for free. Duh, that was the point. Am I wrong?

It would not have been accepted at my Kroger either.

My Kroger wouldn't have taken them both either.

A B1G1 covers two products- you must buy one to get another one. Almost everywhere will not take both.

| You know that's what I was thinking too but then I remembered the scented Oil Glade candle deal. (A lot) of us used Buy the candle holder get the refills free + 1.50 off when you buy the candle holder...with no problems what so ever. I have 20 of each at home right now.

but technically, Target doesn't have to take both. Some ladies on the Target forum will state that as well. We are just lucky as far as that goes! I think there is a lot of interpretation as far as this is concerned. But having worked in retail management back in my college days, I can tell you they really shouldn't take both.

I did it at Kroger with both coupons and no problems at all-even got overage because they were reg .89 and on sale for 2/$1 but it did not take the .39 off till the end. So I got the .55 off and then .89 off for the BOGO. I went two times with different cashiers and got the same deal and ended up with over 100 reeses. I guess it is a YMMV.

I used both of these with no problem- once at Kroger, once at CVS I think. IMO, you should be able to.

There is no reason why you shouldn't be able to and I had a grocery manager tell the CSM just that. The .55 applies to the one you're "buying" and then the B1G1 applies to the second Reeses. Doesn't matter if you're paying for the first one with coupon or cash. You have two items and using two different coupons. Just happens that you're using a .55 off coupon on the B1 item.

I think it might depend on how the coupon is coded as to whether it attaches to two items or one. I know I tried to do the same thing @ Schnucks using a b1g1 Wacky Mac q as well as a .50/1 and it wouldn't go thru because the b1g1 attached to two items. |

Well I wish I had known this before I used my BOGO's by themselves Saturday. Oh well, I'll know next time.
