That's awesome! I have had people in line behind me watching the total drop down to almost nothing make comments about that the store was going to end up owing me money but that actually happened with you. The store is getting paid I'd be really happy!

Yes, you can use both the EQ and paper ones, it makes for some great deals! You cannot use two EQ on the same item but if you have two EQ and two items that is okay.

Fabulous deal! Hasn't happened to me yet, but I'm just getting started with using coupons. I have come close, and had my total before tax as .01. No way I'll get out of paying tax in TN, ! If that day ever does come, you can bet I'm hightailing it back home to let you all know. If I didn't have a heart attack or pass out at the register, that it...

MahoganyOne - you can use both at Kroger. Most stores have the policy, as long as it scans it's good.

I've never been able to come close to negative. Where I live they charge sales tax on the original amount -not the amount after discounts, which SUCKS!!! The closest I've gotten was roughly $50 worth of stuff and owed just shy of $6.

This has never happened to me before (although it would be awesome!) because I always have junk I need to buy that is not on sale... why oh why does my family eat so many olives?

This almost happened to me this week too. I only give 3 to 5 q's at a time to the cashier, to make sure all are scanned. When I saw my total was under a buck, I kept my last 2 .50 q's. (I also forgot about Shortcuts/Cellfire.) Didn't want them to go "what now" and I still have the 2 q's to use again this week. I've learned to always save the best q's for last, in case it ever happens again . Great job!!

Sounds great to me! Good deal...I did have that happen to me once at a Publix. Somehow I got 10 packs of gum and 4.45...and it was the manager that approved it!

Not all of the companies have their registered programmed that way. I know that I had a couple of things on an order yesterday that showed an eCoupon at the time it scanned, but then the register let me use a MQ on it. Honestly? I tend to add eCoupons to my card, but don't always remember what they are.

Way to go! I had a -.99 balance at Kroger this morning and quickly grabbed a $1 bag of Cheetos to eat up the negative balance. The cashier couldn't believe I only paid .03 for my cart full of groceries. Isn't it great?

I sent my college student daughter by Krogers today to pick up 10 items on the mega sale. I sent my coupons with $10 in an envelope for her to use. She said that she was in the check out, chatting with the cashier about her mom being the crazy coupon lady (haha) and she was watching the totals and it went up to $15.71. Well she said to herself that she was glad that she had brought in her wallet bacause I did not send enough money. Well she handed the cashier my coupons and the cashier run them and said your total is $1.59 (after taxes)! My daughters mouth fell open and she gasped "WHAT"! LOL The cashier said, "Guess your moms not crazy after all." To which my daughter replied, "I guess she isn't." On her way home she called me and asked me if I would teach her how to do that! LOL I love it!

good for you! today when i was at kroger I figured my total oop to be very little well the cashier was down to my last coupon and my total was 0.50 which was off of my calculation and the coupon would have doubled and sent it into negative and he was oh that's not right. So he starts looking and the ip coupons i was using for my chex mix were doubling on their own free will in thier system and they said do not double on them so he manually removed all my coupons and then rentered them in and adjusted my total. Which is fine because they state do not double I was suprised their system doubled them on their own I am assuming because they started with a 5
