The "Per Transaction/Per perchas" Discussion

I know there is always a debate going on somewhere about the wording on all coupons where it says "limit one coupon per purchas" but I have never ran into this myself, I have never had a problem. Tonight though I was in Kroger and my young cashier was having problems with my healthy choice coupon and the first one beeped but she pushed it threw, with my 2nd one, she handed it back to me and said it beeped because only 1 is allowed per transaction. (even though the first one peeped too) my husband was with me so he's like "just let it go we'll still get it" but I KNOW that's not the case so I insisted she get her manager. She was irritated but she called her manager over the phone because the manager was in the back, and she must have told her to take it because she pushed it threw then didn't say another word till she handed me my change. I KNOW I was in the right but I was feeling bad because there was 4 people in line behind me while I was arguing with her. Every single coupons says this so I don't even know why this debate is even alive. Anyway, do you all run into this, if so what do you do, insist or let it go? I do coupons because I enjoy it, but when this happens I can't help but feeling bad walking away!

Call corporate.

There is nothing to discuss when your dealing with outright stupidity.

I ALWAYS confront this issue, because it is SURE to come up, AGAIN AND AGAIN.

Misinformation, and allowing it to continue, only hurts you and other couponers.

I HIGHLY doubt, they are picking at the transactions of people who buy $200+ in groceries, and hand them a few coupons, they shouldn't be picking at our transactions either.

Call/write/email/send a message through carrier pigeon.
