Hi! Tomorrow will be my first attempt at couponing. I read somewhere that you can use a paper coupon in addition to the coupons that are loaded on the Kroger card...is this true? And I printed several coupons from the smartsource.com on here, and they all printed with DO NOT DOUBLE OR TRIPLE on them...does it always do that? I was really looking forward to doubling my coupons tomorrow, and didn't purchase a Sun. paper b/c of the printed ones. Also, do the coupons loaded on the card double or triple, too? and last question, if I have coupons loaded from different sites will it take off all of them or only one?

You can use one paper q and one loaded q per item. Neither will double. HTH! |

I shop at Kroger a few times each week and I have never had a cashier refuse to double a DND coupon - the computer does it automatically and the cashier lets it go. I have heard of a few cashiers at different stores (Meijer in particular) overriding the doubling of coupons, but it seems relatively rare. If you have shortcuts or cellfire Q's loaded on your shopper card, you can use one e-coupon and one paper coupon on each item. If you have a shortcut and cellfire for one item, the computer will only use one of your e-coupons. Have fun tomorrow! HTH!

I have had several different experiences with the coupons loaded on my cards. With my Krogers yes you can use paper and e-coupons at the same time and the papers ones that say do not double automatically double at my Kroger. Also though with the e-coupons, when I have the same coupons on both Cellfire and Shortcuts for the same item they both come off. Now on the other hand I have had issues where none of my e-coupons come off at all and I typically shop by the printout that I download that day. This has happened twice to me. The first time at one Kroger they told me to contact Corporate so I did, no response. The second time (which was today) the manager was very nice and refunded the money back to me. So make sure you review your receipt and make sure the e-coupons come off they will say Cfire or SCuts and then the product afterwards. |
