Ginger, I got my Hefty q's ($1/1) from a blinkie machine when it was @ Schnucks. The Yakisoba and Fruit 2o q's were in recent inserts. Some people buy multiples from coupon clipping sites or eBay. Some buy multiple papers when they know there will be good q's. Some dumpster dive and others ask friends and neighbors for their inserts. Some people do a combination of all of those things.

BTW, my son has been scarfing down those Yakisoba things - guess they're pretty good!

Thank you so much...I just couldn't see how they had 20+ but...asking friends etc makes all the difference. I'm starting a coupon basket at work for people to bring their inserts - hoping it will help me out and allow me to donate all those dog foods Qs I don't ever use. I need toddler diet stuff so Yakisoba here I come!

I had to bring back all my free Yakisoba after the first couple boxes because my kids wouldn't eat them (and I certainly don't eat that crap ). I put them in the red food bank barrel and left the rest of my q's on the yakisoba shelf.

Dance let's go krogering

I just wanna warn ya'll.... I have a rather large family so I usually need enough food around the house for Pharoh & his army. So please bear that in mind when ya see the amount I need to purchase for stockpiling.
The cashier wanted to know how I could get in an out of the store so quick and still save so much & with all the Q's so organized for easy checkout! I was so flattered!
I knew it was from all ya'll at AFC! Just wanna give all of ya'll kudos!
I told her about keeping the Q's in a binder, with each sheet protector containing the inserts and a table of contents for that insert for reference. That is when matching the sale flyers to the Q's make it easier to find. That's when the light went off for her! Hopefully she will become a new member of AFC too!

Took the bf with me since we were already out shopping and had a terrible trip! There's too much stuff to list but I'm used to saving at least 50% of my bill but here's the breakdown:

MFG Savings 14.80
Bonus Coupon 1.00
Kroger Plus 55.41
Total Savings 71.21

Here's the worst part:

Total items: 98
Total OOP : 203.47

Lesson learned: Go alone unless you want to spend twice your budget!!

Chef Michaels dog food is awesome deal this week. I must have picked up about 30 bags yesterday at several different stores. Paid only .49 OOP after the mega saver and the $3.00 mq from paper.

whooooo hoooooo! And the dogs love it! Bonus!

(I like the Yakisoba noodles! I think they are pretty good. they are a great addition to donating food to the kids at school who have food sent home with them on fridays so they have enough to eat through the weekend. I purchases approx 120! All free or .05 cents!! )

Got my FREE Buitoni refrigerated pasta last night Love it when the Mega Sale includes items that my family actually use!

10 Boxes refrigerated pasta (the last 3 Fettuccine and 7 Angel Hair) x 1.49 = $14.90
Used $1/1 coupons (some from the paper, some IP) = $4.90
MEGA SALE -$5 = overage! yay!

Too bad I don't have more coupons... on the other hand there were only 3 boxes left in the shelf when I was done.

I am very fortunate that my hometown Krogers does. I am finding most don't. I do know of about 5 other stores just North of me that all D to $1.

Go on the Kroger homepage and call some of the other Krogers around you. Perhaps some of them do.

The Chef Michael's dog food (1lb 8oz bag) is part of the MegaDeal. It is priced @$3.99 minus the $0.50 for the deal = $3.49 minus the $3.00/1 coupon in the 8/23 RP for a final price of $0.49. hth forgot to add that the coupon expires 9-21-09

Yesterday I did the mega deal only:

I don't have the register tape with me but here's what I bought:

3 tidy cat litter, used 3 $1/1, paid $3.50 ea.
3 Coffeemate, used 3 $1/1, paid $1.50 ea.
4 Digiorno rising crust pizzas, used 4 $1/1, $2.97 ea
