Buy 6 - Save $3 OYNO

The Promo Cat actually said it would be an OYNO for Chicken or Beef purchase, but my catalina printed for just $3 OYNO, no Beef/Chicken stipulation.

**Deal Scenario**
Purchase 6 Seasoning Packs @ $1.09/ea
Use 2 Free Seasoning wyb 2 Old El Paso Product Peelies
Spend $4.36 and get $3 back!

I did this today with the OEP seasonings. They were on sale for $0.79.

I got the $1 CAT and it printed the instructions for another CAT on it:

Purchase any Old El Paso taco shells, dinner kits, seasoning, refried beans or heat & serve side dishes between 9/11 & 10/4

-Save $1 OYN beef or chicken purchase WYB 3
-Save $3 ONY beef or chicken purchase WYB 6

$.75/1 Uncle Ben's Ready Rice
The retailer on this is Mars Food. I don't know what I bought to get this, but I did buy a Knorr Sides (rice). Or is it the Mars candy company? I bought two of the 2/$1 candy bars at the register, but they're both Hershey's.

$2/5 General Mills cereal
I bought 4 boxes of GM cereal.

Catalina payless catalina

I had to take my twin BLONDE DD to get their driver test. I told them I was gonna get a few things at Kroger and to call me when they were finished to pick them up. They teased me " Gonna use your Q's, Mom?" Like ya gatta ask, gee that's a given.

While I was shopping, one of the twins text to me " what city was I born?". I replied the answer. Now, please remember they are twins.

A few mins later she texts me back again " was my twin sister born in the same city?"

I felt like saying ' well.. you see while I was in the middle of labor after one baby was born, I told the doctor and everybody in the delivery room... wait! we gatta pack up everything an go to the next city to have the next baby!'
At checkout, Kroger gave me a catalina for payless. The girls wanted to go to payless, so I gave them the catalina, and when we arrived at the store they were having a BOGO 1/2 off. Needless to say they girls really racked in some savings of $40.

" Thanks for the Q Mom!" and a kiss on the cheek. tee hee!

That was a good day!

Yay! It feels good to know I'm not the only one baking bread from scratch... and I agree, I don't know what's with the weather here, but since I moved 2 years ago haven't been able to grow a good sourdough starter!!! SO frustrating

So funny! I have twins, one blonde, one brunette. They are just starting to talk. I wonder if I'll get the silly questions from the blonde one .
Thanks for the story, really made me laugh!

Oh good lord thats funny!! I have BG twins and I am sure I will hear that from them some day even though they are only 3. We have already caught them doing many silly things for example when they were 1 1/2 I heard them giggling behind the couch....when I peeked to see what the giggles were about I found them looking in the front of each others diaper!!!

Today, I went and purchase 10 of the small boxes of Juicy Juice to do the buy 10 get $5 off. I got 3 $1 OYNO catalinas. I wasn't expecting anything and I was really supprised. I had two transactions so I used them on the second one so I don't have them in front of me.

Got another catalina notice on Pillsbury refrigerated baked goods: crescents, cookies, sweet rolls, Grands, Grands cinnamon rolls, pie crusts, dinner rolls, loaves, breadsticks, or pizza crust.

Get:
$4 OYNO when you buy 6;
$3 OYNO when you buy 5;
$2 OYNO when you buy 4.

The catch is that this offer is valid 10/5-11/1, and thus doesn't begin until after this week's 3/$5 sale is over.

Where I am, $1.67 each is not that great a deal (IIRC the regular price is $1.99), and the 3/$5 deal has usually lasted more than one week. So I'm hanging on to the stash of Red Plum coupons that came in the paper a couple of weeks ago, which will stack on top of the Cellfire and Shortcuts coupons. How's that for living dangerously?

There's a new Pillsbury IP to go with the upcoming CAT. If you don't want it, print it for me and we'll trade!

It's for $1 off ANY Pillsbury Crescents or Italian Meal Breads. Rockin!

I can never seem to wrap my head around grocery store cats. They are just always random surprises to me. I'm sure I'm missing out on some great deals. Is there a master list for Kroger stores?

This is a very good deal for the TX/LA region! Our 3/$5 sale ends on 10/6 so we can get 6 for $0.86 after subtracting the value from the OYNO. Here's my scenario (I called my store for a price check on the pizza crust):

-2 sweet rolls @ $1.67 each = $3.34. Use $0.50/2 MQ (doubles), and the $1/2 SC = 2/$1.34
-2 Grands biscuits @ $1.67 each = $3.34. Use 2 $0.30/1 MQ (triples), and the $1/2 SC = $2/$1.44
-2 pizza crust @ $2.59 each = $5.18. Use 2 $0.35/1 (triples), and the $1/2 SC or CF = $2.08

That's $4.86 OOP and get a $4 OYNO back.

I better make room for more cans in my fridge.

I'm bummed. The ink was out on my register's Cat machine so I didn't get the Pillsbury cat. I tried to call them using the number someone posted above and I sat on hold for an hour. I guess I'll try again soon.

What's with Houston's cat machines???? SAME thing happened to me on Saturday for my Fleishmann's yeast deal. Fortunately I had the cat where the deal was described, so I took it to C/S and they gave me $1 cash instead of $1 OYNO

I want to get more yeast, since it's on sale right now and we got some Q's on Sunday... but I'm afraid I'll have the same issue again

Dang! It's pretty annoying. The cashier happened to be the CS guy, and he didn't even offer help in any way. He just said he was sorry but they were out of ink. I have plenty of biscuits and such...I wouldn't have even purchased them if it weren't for the cat. I hope I can get through with Catalina.

I knew I forgot something. I was going to buy yeast today. I guess it wouldn't have done any good anyways. I'll have to stop by a different Kroger tomorrow.

HEADS UP ON THE PILLSBURY CATALINA DEAL

Went today and bought my 6 cans, BUT no $4 catalina. Asked cashier and she had no idea what I was talking about. I called the customer service desk when I got home and asked the woman who answered the phone. She explained to me that it runs TILL Nov. 1st, then it will shot out the catalina. Here I thought I had to buy all 6 at one time, guess it keeps adding them up till the end of the month.

Gosh, gotta wait a whole month to get it!
