A whole bin of dried fruit--i.e., Welch's Berry Mix, 59 cents, Sun Maid Red Raisin canisters 99 cents, Red-Yellow-Regular Raison Foil packs 99 cents, dried cherries 16 oz box 99 cents, etc. I bought enough to last us all winter. Not sure if they are shrinking down the prepackaged dried fruit sections or what, but these were great buys.

My Krogers had an entire shopping cart full of Lifesaver Gummies boxes for .25 each. (3 ounce boxes). I only grabbed 6...if I would have known they were going to do that, we'd be the most popular house in the neighborhood on Halloween, !

They have managers specials everyday you just have to be in the store at the right time its mostly in the morning. If go to krogers on say thur fri you find a lot of make down meat I got porkchops family pack that was 14.00 for 5.59 made my day

While shopping today there was an overhead announcement of a special in the seafood dept. They had shrimp samples at the counter. Sign said 100ct for $4.99. They had about a dozen of the 100 ct shrimp platters with sauce. Regular price was $24.99. Used a Kroger coupon for $4 off shrimp. Only $0.99 oop.

This is the best managers special I've ever had!

I bought that sauce once and could never understand why it was so expensive. IMO it wasn't anything all that special. $2.00 is a great deal for it though.

I think I'm going to have to go to Krogers twice a day...they are really starting to entice me with these Manager Specials this week. They didn't have much this morning (yesterday morning they got me with the razor deals in my last post here). Took my mom shopping for the mega deals tonight, and found Revlon Manicure Essentials kits for 1.25 on Mgr. Spec. I had $1 off any Revlon Beauty tools, so .25 each. I only got 2, gave 2 q's to Mom so she could get some too.

I also found Nicoderm CQ patches (14 count-2 week supply), Commit Lozenges (72 count), and Nicorette gum (100 count). Each box was on Mgr. Spec. for $10! There was a q in this past Sunday's inserts for $10 off Nicoderm CQ, Commit, or Nicorette, for $10 off. Had 4 $10 off q's, so these were all free, and I'm taking this as a sign from a higher power that I need to try to quit smoking. Has anyone tried these? I worked with someone who swore that the gum did it for him, but I've been smoking for longer than I care to admit (started when I was about 13-peer pressure-and I just turned 40 last week) and I think this is going to be hard. At least when I was pregnant, I had more incentive.

Back to savings... Original prices on the stop smoking products totaled 151.96, and I got them all FREE! The Revlon kits were originally 5.99. Total oop before tax: $.50 Savings: $163.44!

Yeah, at first I too was underwhelmed. I think the stuff costs so much because of Rao's mystique: the Bronx restaurant has only twelve tables, so reservations are a status symbol. As for the sauce, I thought it was meh the first time I had it over plain linguine. Then I made eggplant parmagiano with it, and wow! Even better is a dish that translates from Italian as "eggs in hell," which is just eggs poached in sauce. With some crusty bread, it's an unbeatable lazy-fancy breakfast. Buon appetito!

This week Pickerington Kroger had 9 pound bags of charcoal for $1.00. There was a coupon for $1.00 off the 9 pound bag in a tailgating mailer they sent me -- so free charcoal! Smoked turkey for Thanksgiving!
