do you think that is all of the stores? like King soopers as well? I am not senior citizen but my mom is and I would like to tell her about this but don't want her to full embarrassed if they don't.. Kohl's also does this on Tuesdays but I think it is 15%

In my Kroger store....GA.....the Senior Discount Day is Wednesday and the senior age is 60. I'm pretty close to 60 so they all scan the Senior UPC from their reference lookup area. If they don't I speak up and say, "Don't forget my senior discount" and they always scan it for me without question. I only found out about the 60 age a few days ago. I know it used to be 55. They must have upped it when so many baby boomers started to hit 55. I love to get the 5% on top of using my coupons.

In NC it is def. 55 and you just go to CS show your ID and they link it to you card so you nevr have to ask for your discount it just comes right off.

I think I'll wait until I'm really 60 to check this out.

I wouldn't want them to lock me out of Senior discount until then!

If you have a AARP card you can show that to get the discount as well. At least here. Not quite 55 but use mine at Super Salads every time I go and get the SS discount. It also helps get bigger MIR at Wags sometimes.

I am going to Kroger today. I will try it there.

It is Wednesday here in southern central Illinois and they get 10% off. Not sure what the age is tho.

Hi Bette - This is my first post. I was really interested in getting a discount for being a senior. I did call corporate to verify the information. To my horror I was told it goes according to the region you live in. In Cincinnati, you get a 10% discount at the pharmacy if you don't have insurance - no other senior discount. Please make sure you call the corporate office to verify your region participates before going to the store. 1-866-221-4141
