I went last week and I was trying to cruch the numbers to get to a $25 minimum and still have a low OOP. So, this was my idea!!! I searched for high price items with a full REBATE :-). I found a gain rebate (up to $15.64) from their website. I bought a box of gain at 14.99. This was my transaction.

Gain detergent $14.99 --Rebate for full amt.
2 Crisco shortening @ 2.99 ea.
2 Keebler crackers 2/5
pack of Angel Soft TP 7.49.. 12 dbl roll pack

used:
$1/2 crisco products
$1/2 Keebler crackers
$1/1 angel soft

total 33.46
- 14.99 rebate
-$2 crisco
-$2 keebler
-$2 angel soft

final before tax 12.47
not great, not bad considering the limitations on the dbl offer.

Never mind, I found it. But it's NOT a rebate, it's a Money Back Guarantee. I already know I like Gain.

usually I go to brookpark. it has the best grocery selection I think!

The Gain rebate I found here Gain Coupons & Offers | ILoveGain.com was just a satisfaction guarantee. Is there another? This one's only good on Gain Original Powder.

the rebate I had was from a couple of months ago. It was not the money back one. I printed it at that time and it is gone. And you're correct the only one up now is the satisfaction one. Sorry for the confusion I should have checked to make sure it was still there!!!

That's the one I shop at! I like that I can add meat to my order to help get to the $25 mark. I never find good deals on meat and it's something I'm going to buy anyways. It's a small world!

The trick I use is the meal deal and the free item for the week. Usually adds another $7-8 and all but about 3 comes off at the end.
