I would think you could use it instead of the super coupon because the previous poster said the super coupon wouldn't work. If you are worried about going negative make sure you have other items to eat the difference.

Our store in Albany (NY) had Chinet Casuals plates (lunch 8 3/4" size 36 Ct in blue or green) on sale 2/$3 ($1.50 each), and there is a $0.55/1 coupon for those (expires 10/31) so they are $0.40 after coupon.

They also happened to have TRESemme Naturals Finishing Spray (UPC 0 22400 62445 7) tagged on the shelf for $1.00 (tag on bottle still $4.49, scanned fine @ $1) so those wound up free with $1 coupons (which expire 8/28).

Unfortunately, the newest Band-Aid coupons (expiring 12/31) aren't good for trial size, so couldn't use those for free ones (and don't have any of the older ones mentioned above left).

Those are all I found, based on what coupon I had.

This is (or was) true - the most current Whiskas coupon came out either the week of, or the week before, the last doubles.

I used it then, and the coupon wouldn't scan at all at the register.

So, the cashier put it in manually, and therefore it didn't double.

Maybe by now the registers are fixed to read the newer coupons (but knowing how slowly Kmart changes things, maybe not).
