Sunflower Market is a fairly new chain of natural food stores. The guy behind them was also behind Whole Foods. There are now 16 locations.

The Littleton store is having it's grand opening this month. They have slightly different deals than the other locations because of this.
The ads run from Wed to Wed. That means each Wednesday the sales overlap!!! It is like heaven!

There are dozens of fabulous produce deals. Check your local ad for your deals.

Kashi Go Lean cereal is 2/$4 and there are $1/1 and $2/1 coupons out there
*Vans frozen waffles are 2/$5 and there is a $1/2 coupon
Rudi's Organic honey ww bread $2.99, $1.50 blinkie at King Soopers

Where in Littleton is this Sunflower store? I can't wait for the one in Aurora on Arapahoe/Parker to open. The next closest is Colorado/Yale which isn't bad, but out of the way for me. I have heard from others that the Sunflower prices are very reasonable for good produce.

I was at VC in Fort Collins today and they have grapes, peaches, and nectorines on sale for $1 a pound. I have also found that their ground turkey is the cheapest I can find anywhere.

It is over by Cross and Wadsworth -- Southwest Plaza area. There is a Joann's craft store , Office Depot, and dollar store in the same shopping area.

Every time I go there, it is so crowded! (Although, I think I have only shopped on Wednesdays for the ad overlap so maybe that is why it is so crazy!) The staff is very nice and we love to shop there. I like that their BYOB credit is higher than the other local grocers!

At Sunflower Market, I got avocados 3/$1 this week. My DD can't wait to make her own guac!

Red Grapes .49/lb

I also saw that they make their own brand of paraban-free lotion and it is on sale for 2/$3 for the small bottles and $2.99 for the larger. This is a great price on lotion, especially paraban-free!

There was SO much more but I don't have my ad in front of me.

can I just say we just had a Sunflower Market open up in Arvada this week!! I AM LOVING THIS STORE!!!! When I went in on Thurs they were giving away FREE pink re-usable bags.
Their pumpkins are only 2/$5 much cheaper than King Soopers

Sunflower Market has bison this week!

We love the healthy benefits of bison over beef, but it is difficult to find and especially at a good price. They have ground bison at $3.99/lb and bison london broil for $5.99/lb.

A few other prices that look good to me are:

Does anyone know if the plans are still on track to build a Sunflower in Longmont? We lived in Niwot, and I always shopped at the Boulder store, but right before we moved last fall, they had an article in the paper saying that Sunflower was coming to Longmont. They were going to be putting it in the empty lot just North of Home Depot. Wish it would've been there when I was! Now we just gotta convince them to build in Grand Junction! (Yeah right! We're lucky to have a Vitamin Cottage!)

I shop at Vitamin Cottage once per week, but when I go south {to Southwest Plaza} I stop in Sunflower and am always surprised at the amazing produce deals!
