Let me give you an example. By mistake I bought a bottle of softsoap in the wrong transaction. It was suppose to be on my 2nd transaction. Well I didn't realize it until I already paid. I paid $3.99 for it. I tried to return it without the receipt and they said it had been on sale for $3 within the last 90 days. Luckily I was able to show the csm that I had JUST bought it but didn't want to lose money by return it with the receipt since I had used a crt. She just gave me the $3.99 for it. BUT she could have ONLY given me the $3.

So do you see what I mean.

And regarding the coupon situation I don't think they do things as you are saying. So they probably won't know if they were over that day or not.

So everything will matter on how your Kmart is.

This is why the #1 think I tell people who want to venture into Kmart is to watch the screen and make sure EVERYTHING goes ok right at the checkout. This has saved me additional frustration SOOO many times.[/quote]

I went to exchange a couple pantene shampoos for moose and I had 2000 points and there all gone now. They shouldn't be able to take them away when I just exchanged I would understand if it was a simple return. So not very happy right now

Yeah anytime you return something that got you points you lose those points. Which I do agree with. If your not keeping the item you shouldn't get to keep the points you got for purchasing that item.

The ONLY time an exchange will work without hurting you points wise if you are exchanging the item for the exact same item. Maybe your item was damaged or something. That is the only time they can do an even exchange.

So if your returning a shampoo to get a mousse that is not an even exchange. They have to refund the shampoo and give you back your money (or in some cases only part of your money) And then treat the mousse as a new transaction. You can just had them a shampoo and grab a mousse and walk out there door. It ALL has to go back in and out of their system so their inventory doesn't get messed up! AND there could even be a price difference between the 2 items. (I have seen price differences on same size items before)

I agree. I had purchased two glad trash bags that were suppose to be giving 5000 pts. Didn't get them, customer service gave me gift cards. One manager was tripping when he saw I was buying 18 towels, he didn't know about the points, just thought 3.99 good a towel was a good deal. Then on the same trip a manager said that he didn't think I could get the double stuff oreos free, but said try it. He came up to make sure there were no problems.

I have been helping a friend learn to stock pile, so we stated check out at 9,.store closes at 10, didn't finish until 10:30. Manager that helped me with cookies was not happy. Told him next time I will make sure it doesn't happen again. Can't expect someone to be nice if your not willing to give too!

Of course they didn't even know about coupons doubling or what accounts for doubling. Anyway, I took my chances.

you can use as many as qualify for the products you are buying.

only the first 5 that are 1$or under will be eligible for doubling

check your receipt to see which coupons doubled
....

many people will break transactions into separate ( more than one) transactions so they are only using 5 double eligible coupons per transaction.

I bought the wrong Dixie plates yesterday because they had them marked wrong and I didn't read the quantity so they were $3.39 instead of $1.99. I caught it before I got out of the store so I got the correct ones and went to exchange. They wanted to give me .17 instead of $1.40 plus tax. I said no that's not right. I was because I used the $10 cat. So they had to call a manager and they gave me the $1.40. But a pain to get.

my cats are good till 7/14 and my crts are good till 07/09.... ( dove 5$ and cats were mailed from the company as they didn't print when they were supposed to... )
