Like tracysbeans said, check your receipt. It sounds like:

1. The cashier didn't scan your BBQ sauce and the coupon had nothing to attach to.

2. You grabbed the wrong BBQ sauce and the coupon wouldn't work.

You usually have to be at $25 before the amount of the free item. It says free with a $25 purchase and does not include the free item. You were only at $23.98 so that may have been the issue.

TY. Just checked my receipt again. The BBQ scanned. 1.79. And, I know she scanned the coupon too, I watched carefully and I saw that she scanned, looked at the screen, scanned again, ?? read again, and put aside. I did ask at the end, "did you get all my coupons?" and she said "I scanned all your coupons." Yes she did, but not all coupons came off. I am at a dis-advantage, as I cannot read the register from the aisle, with or without glasses. I hate that. I think every store should have a screen that customers can see what is being rung up while your transaction is being conducted. Consumers affair!
