| Shop your way rewards down
I live ouside of Boston,MA and the rewards system was down at least at my store, would not take my $10 CRT or issue another one, did not double coupons or take the ragu and Barilla off my order. Of couse my $10 CRTs but the mgr wrote a note to accept them until May 2. Just wanted to post just in case it is system wide.

same thing here in MD, my mom was there for an hour and a half trying to get her orders straight with customer service

I am soo frustrated. I was at Kmart for over an hour and half waiting to check out.. No go, and I have 14 ($10) crt's that expire tonight. I am gonna call them back, as my husband called earlier and didn't quite explain the situation correctly... This STINKS!

I only had 3 which was bad enough!!! Talk directly to the store manager--they extended mine. I feel your pain!!! |

I have been on hold for over an hour.. I think these people stopped answering their phone? Maybe I should shoot an email to regular Kmart customer service? Any opinions?

You know my system was down 2 weekends ago.....they were not able to accept sywr cards, atm cards......but they said this was due to storm issues we had here.....not sure this happened kmart wide....but I was able to go to another one the next day.....I sure hope you all get that fixed....I was there about 2pm PST today and everything seemed fine.... I guess we threw them off, everyone using there CRTs today, ....oops!

mine was down too so they deducted the amounts off for my meal as coupons & pushed my $10 crts through.

There isn't any storms here, but the customer service lady workin tonight said that it had been really slow all day. I was at another Kmart before this happened and everything was FINE.. I knew I shoulda just stayed there and done all my transactions there, that guy was soo nice. I am totally kicking myself now.. I am still on hold, but have an email typed to submit to the regular Kmart customer service. I want to make sure all bases are covered.. URGH.... Frustration..

It was down in southern New Jersey. I was there at 6:30 pm. The manager gave me a 10.00 gift card since I did not get my P & G CRT. But I realized that my coupons did not double. Darn. It was like a 3 ring circus there. But the employees are very nice.

It was down in IA tonight and NO help from customer service. She finally wrote her initials on them and wrote that SYWR was down. Not sure what they are going to do about it though. She seemed absolutely clueless |

Same here in Ohio at nine pm tonight. CS gave me $10 in cash for my crt but had to call the rewards number for the rest of my transaction. I am scared since I need to be reimbursed for a of crt from my sale, free ragu and pasta and one DBL coupon. Automated message was saying it will take 30 days to see credit on acct. But I think I am going to have probs getting dbl q and of crt back. I think I should call a customer service number instead? I dunno.

Down in Louisiana. Cashier assured me that I could call the 800 number and that they would credit my account for the points... Can anyone confirm this?? I surely hope this is the truth.. I asked her multiple times and she assured me multiple times that it could be done that way. Help! |

System was down in NY as well. They manually entered my $10crt and doubled all my coupons but said I would have to call to get my $10crt for buying $30 of P&G. I sure hope they make things right for all of us.

They told me the same thing shawn!! I saw on the kmart website there is a link for retrieving missing points. I think I may give it a try, fill out info from the receipt, and see what happens. Well, I went back to my K tonight.....after hearing all the difficulties with sywr.....I was there at 830 pm pst....and was told it just came back up around 7pm pst.....so I was able to do 4 transactions. The cashier said it was slow the whole day.....but nobody knew what was going on with it.

Wow! I am glad that I did my 2 early in the day......did one in the morning, and figured I'd go back that evening, but decided to head on out early afternoon instead while I had the chance at home. Sure hope everyone was able to get theirs used or at least extended or credited last night! Does anyone know if it's back up everywhere today? I thought of going this afternoon to use up my H&S Q's I have left (no $10 CRT's left though).

It was down nationwide. I was there while they were on the phone with SYWR. I had 10 and they manually pushed them through as a $10 non food manu coupon. Surprisingly not one other customer came to the line while I did my 10 transactions! There was another checkout open. I wonder if they it's up yet. I have tons of P&G coupons that expire today that I wanted to use.

Living in the Chicagoland area, I live within 2 miles of three different Kmarts (one is closing). I follow the rules and do my darndest to smile and be a happy customer when I question something. But, it never fails that I find "the manager" on duty who has a terrible attitude towards couponers. I was in the Bridgeview Kmart (Hi, Codin! ) with my and my daughter's two expiring $10 CRT's. The manager told me I was only supposed to have ONE issued to me in the first place, and was hesitant to hand me back one of them. I managed to talk her into initialing one for use when the system was back up...and she slid the other back to me across the counter, saying she was only going to okay one of them. Whatever...I made the trek to the other Kmart for my daughter's...no hassle or grouchiness from that manager at all.It irritates me to NO END that every Kmart manager has a different understanding, knowledge, and attitude regarding the promotions going on. I cringe when I have to hand over my coupons...and then I MEGA-CRINGE when I have to visit the customer service desk! Oh well...I suppose this is the price I must pay for doing the coupon-thing, right? |

![]() I'm sorry to hear that. I was in Joliet when I used my 10. I did thank the supervisor several times telling her I know most managers would not have approved them. I have a lot of problems with Bridgeview. Their customer service is the worst! What gets me most is when a coupon won't scan, they try making up their own reason. I always tell them that is not the case and that I worked for Kmart for several years. Which I did. Ever since I started standing my grounds there, I have less and less problems. I did call them and the rewards program is back up. I would call and talk to the manager on duty, heck, I would ask for the store manager, and explain what happened and ask if they will honor it if you come in. Make sure you get the name in case you have problems at checkout.

| Good to know it's not just me...
I try and try to be a good sport at couponing, but I feel like I'm losing the battle. ![]() Thanks for the heads-up on the rewards system being back up. I guess I'll give it another go...this time with an expired coupon with a handwritten note on it. Hopefully I'll have no issues...but we'll see, won't we? |

bump. has anyone called customer service about their missing 10 PG CRTs that you wouldve recieved if the system wasnt down??? I actually filled out the form for missing points, and they added me like 300 points or something, but Im gonna call today to find out about the 10 CRTs.. I will raise hell if they dont fix this :angry: |
