One of my local Kmarts (Bridgeview, IL) had the P&G signs hanging stated spend $30 get $10, dated 4-22 through 4-29, but when I did my transaction, I got no CRT. The cashier was already having issues so I didn't bother. I had my 11 month old with me...wasn't worth the hassle!!

4 H&S @ $7.79 each
=$31.16
-$15.58 2 BOGO coupons
-$10 CRT
=$5.58

Has anyone else had this problem? This is definitely a weird one.

Okay....I found the signs.....went to my Kmart guru....and said they would honor it, if it did not work. So...yay for me! But I really want everybody to get in on it too. Have not tried it as of yet....I will post here my outcome.

Aww you lucky duck! Glad there taking care of you!! I showed the pic of the advertisement to my Kmart manager and he said it is probably a regional deal.

Yes her total of P&G items was $31.16 before tax!

I contacted SYWR customer service today about the P&G deal. I advised them of the sticker advertisement on the shelves and not receiving the coupon. We reviewed my recent transactions and the customer service agent agreed I did qualify for the deal. However, after looking up the deal in her system, it showed the effective dates as 4/15/12 thru 4/21/12. I stated the sticker gives the impression that the deal is still on-going. She requested I send her an image of the sticker and her support staff will look into it further.

After taking a closer look at the sticker and one of the $10 CRT from last week, the effective dates are the same. So I have a feeling they are going to tell me the stickers were from last week and the effective date on it are the dates the coupons would have be valid. Grrr! I'm hoping I still get either my $10 coupons or bonus points to match because that is truly false advertisement at its best!!!

I would hate to return all the items I bought because I won't get my coupons back!!

If they don't give your coupons back you are supposed to get cash for them, which IMO is better.

Well, don't be getting but so excited..........we are talking about Kmart after all.

But seriously, that would be unethical for them to turn in the coupons & be reimbursed for them then turn around & deny you a refund for the coupon amount. If they give you a hassle I would point this out to them & insist that they either return the coupons or give you cash. You may end up with a gc, but that's okay too in my book.

I found the tags at another store but decided to not try it.

As for returning items while using coupons, Kmart's system is set up to deduct the coupons from the refund amount. Every time I've had to return something while a coupon was being used, the store manager had to override it!! What a PITA!!

Yes I do know that if you return something that you paid coupons on the manager will have to override every item!

So I posted my trip somewhere else, but I just want to give an update here.....so my fav cashier went ahead with my transactions, and no crt came out....so she gave me gc's because of the signs (I took 2 of the stickers).....and we both think the signs were wrong....probably kmart made an error with the dates.....So, I am not one to take advantage of the deal. I can wait til next week. I briefly mentioned it over the phone when I call SYWR today, but they said to go back into the store to talk to them......Kmart always giving the run-around.

We went on Wednesday (before I read a lot of these particular posts) and the signs were literally everywhere in the H&B section with P&G products. We bought Head & Shoulders and Downy Unstoppables and no CRT popped out. I asked the lady at customer service about it and after about 20 minutes (which included a walk back to see the signs and a call to the manager) we were issued a gift card. They had no clue about the signs. I'm glad for the gift card, though. IMO if the signs aren't supposed to be up... how about they take them down? Just a small suggestion. That being said, I'm not attempting these deals unless it's in the ad from now on.

Thanks. Wanted clarification. I work for K-Mart, and am an avid couponer myself. At times, certain promos have to be met before tax. Just wanted to help.

That's what I say. I showed the pic of the sign to my Kmart manager and he said he thought it was an error and said he was going to take down the signs. I said there were NO signs up except the ones still from the week before. I told him the pic was from another store. He then thought it might be a regional deal.

IF the signs were posted ALL over my store and they weren't taken down I would be doing the deal over and over.

Absolutely. Some people believe that deals are calculated after tax, which is not necessarily true.

I'd love to! I'll be here often to list clearance items and assist if need be. You guys seem to know the tools of the trade. :-)
